We’re looking for an Agentic Developer who builds agents in code that are used by many people across the organization, not local agents for personal productivity. You will turn business problems into production-ready, scalable AI solutions, and help make sure people actually adopt them.\nThis environment is fast-paced, highly visible, and requires someone who is proactive, technically strong, and confident operating in ambiguity. The right person will bring both builder energy and strong consulting instincts-they know how to create solutions, drive adoption, and communicate clearly with stakeholders across technical and business teams.\nThis opportunity is structured as a W2 consulting role supporting a 3-month client project, with strong potential for extension based on performance and budget. This role offers a hybrid schedule in Issaquah, WA, with up to four days in-office days each week.\nAs an Agentic Developer (Consultant) for AG Consulting Partners, a typical day might include the following:\nBuild agents that scale\nDesign, build, and deploy agents in code that serve many users across enterprise functions \nBuild on Microsoft Foundry and Azure with production concerns included from the start: identity and access, observability, evaluation, guardrails, and cost control \nDevelop reusable agent and workflow templates that other teams can adopt and extend independently Design AI-driven solutions tailored to specific business processes and operational pain points \nDeliver as part of the team\nWork alongside the existing developer and the wider four-person team: shared repos in Azure DevOps, pull requests, code review, and Agile ceremonies \nTest, validate, and stage deployments through CI/CD, using infrastructure as code \nTranslate stakeholder use cases into scalable automation strategies and production-ready solutions \nWork side-by-side with client Dev and QA teams to refine and optimize agents \nDrive adoption\nPartner with change management and AI governance teams to ensure adoption readiness \nSupport pilot programs, user feedback loops, and continuous improvement \nHelp define support models, escalation paths, and post-go-live ownership \nCommunicate progress and trade-offs to technical leadership and executive stakeholders\nThis job is for you if:\nYou have\nShipped agents or LLM-powered applications to production that were used by many people, not only by you or your own team \nStrong coding skills in Python and TypeScript \nHands-on Azure experience, including Azure DevOps (ADO) and Microsoft Foundry \nWorked in an Agile team, with comfort in code review, shared repositories, and handoffs \nThe ability to build the solution and explain the “why” to both technical and non-technical audiences \nExperience creating technical documentation to help onboard new users with little or no experience using agents \nIt’s a plus if you also have\nInfrastructure as code: Terraform (HCL) or Bicep \nC#, JavaScript, or PowerShell \nSharePoint, Power Automate, or Copilot Studio \nExperience with agent evaluation, tool integrations (such as MCP), or multi-agent orchestration\nRequirements\nYou have:\n5+ years of experience in workflow automation, systems implementation, technical consulting, or solution engineering \nStrong hands-on experience with Power Automate, Power Platform, workflow automation, or agent-based solution design \nExperience building production-ready automation solutions rather than only strategy recommendations \nStrong stakeholder management and business process mapping skills \nComfortable operating independently in high-visibility consulting environments \nEnterprise-level FTE experience or consulting experience supporting enterprise organizations is required\nYou might also have:\nExperience with AI agents, Copilot, generative AI workflows, or enterprise AI implementations \nMicrosoft ecosystem experience strongly preferred \nExperience supporting governance models, intake processes, and rollout planning \nFamiliarity with Power Apps, Azure automation tools, or low-code enterprise solutions\nBenefits\nAbout Us\nAG Consulting Partners, Inc. is a Redmond-based boutique consulting firm.
