This role will design, develop, test, and support Windows desktop applications, web services, data integrations, reports, and database components that support grant lifecycle management, financial compliance, budgeting, cost allocation, and reporting functions.\nThe Developer will work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, database administrators, and Workday integration teams to modernize and maintain a mission-critical application environment. The position requires strong expertise in Microsoft technologies, including C#, .NET Framework, WPF, SQL Server, SSRS, SSIS, and enterprise integration services.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\n1. Application Development\nRemediate, enhance, and maintain the organization's Grant Management System to support evolving business and compliance requirements.\nDesign, develop, and support Windows desktop applications using C# and .NET Framework 4.6.2.\nDevelop and maintain user interfaces utilizing Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF), Ribbon controls, and WinForms components.\nImplement and support Model-View-ViewModel (MVVM) architecture using SimpleMvvmToolkit.\nDevelop reusable application components, business logic, and service layers.\n2. System Integration\nDesign and maintain integrations between the Grant Management System and Workday.\nDevelop and support WCF (SOAP) services utilizing FSADataService and related enterprise service components.\nDesign and consume APIs, web services, and data exchange processes.\nUtilize Newtonsoft.Json for data serialization and JSON processing.\n3. Database Development\nDevelop, optimize, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases.\nCreate and support T-SQL stored procedures, functions, views, triggers, and queries.\nManage and maintain SSDT database projects.\nDesign and troubleshoot database performance issues and data integrity concerns.\nDevelop and maintain ADO.NET data access layers using typed DataSets.\n4. Reporting & Analytics\nDesign, develop, and maintain SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) reports.\nSupport embedded reporting solutions utilizing Microsoft ReportViewer controls.\nDevelop data extracts, dashboards, and operational reports supporting grant management activities.\n5. Data Integration & ETL\nDesign, develop, and maintain SSIS packages for ETL processes and data feeds.\nSupport data migration, validation, transformation, and reconciliation activities.\nMonitor and troubleshoot automated integration processes.\n6. Testing & Quality Assurance\nCreate and execute MSTest unit tests.\nParticipate in code reviews and application testing activities.\nDevelop documentation, deployment procedures, and technical specifications.\nEnsure adherence to software development lifecycle (SDLC) standards and best practices.\n7. DevOps & Source Control\nUtilize Visual Studio, MSBuild, and NuGet package management tools.\nManage source code through Azure DevOps, TFS, or equivalent version control platforms.\nParticipate in release management, deployment automation, and application support activities.\n8.
