Today, Ageas Re serves clients globally, specializing in property and casualty treaty reinsurance.\nYour function\nBe part of the underwriting team in charge of processing underwriting submissions for business written in our Brussels and Zurich offices.\nKey responsibilities include:\nCollaborate closely with underwriters, promote current standards and best practices, and actively support selected underwriting activities.\nAssist underwriters throughout the underwriting process by downloading and filing documentation, maintaining tracking sheets, conducting sanctions screenings, and ensuring compliance with internal underwriting guidelines.\nPrepare contracts for signature and manage overall contractual documentation.\nAccurately and timely enter risk and contract information into the administration system.\nPrepare reports and briefing materials for conferences, client meetings, and business visits.\nCollaborate with the team of underwriting assistants to maintain consistent standards and processes and provide mutual support during periods of high workload.\nLiaise with internal stakeholders across Claims, Accounting, Finance, and Tools & Process Development departments to ensure efficient communication and coordination.\nContribute to delivering excellent service to clients and brokers.\nYour profile\nPrevious experience in the retail or financial services industries, ideally as an underwriting support with basic knowledge of reinsurance and contract structures.\nStrong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively, meet deadlines, and work under pressure during renewal seasons.\nExcellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy when handling data, documentation, and administrative processes.\nA strong willingness and ability to quickly learn new technologies, tools, and methodologies.\nComfortable working collaboratively in a team environment while also managing responsibilities independently.\nGood analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured and process-oriented approach to work.\nProactive and reliable.\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills.\nProficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.\nFluent in English, both written and spoken;
