If you’re ready to help define what comes next, we’d love to meet you.\nPosition Summary:\nAGBO is looking for a Senior Designer, Monetization to shape how players engage with the store and premium content in this unannounced title. You’ll own the design of our monetization systems from offer structure to the in-game purchase experience, and partner with business development, finance, and analytics into player-friendly design.\nKey Responsibilities:\nOwn the design of the in-game store, including layout, rotation cadence, featured content, and offer presentation; Partner with UX to create a clear. intuitive shopping experience\nDesign bundles, limited-time offers and first-time purchase offers that deliver clear player value and sustainable revenue\nDesign the structure of each season, including free and premium tracks, rewarding pacing, progression curves, and the balance between earnable and purchasable content\nEnsure monetization design meets platform requirements and regional regulations\nTrack competitor offerings, pricing and industry trends to inform strategy\nDefine cosmetic tiering and rarity structures across weapon cosmetics, character skins, and other items, working with Art to align perceived value with visual quality\nTrack and interpret monetization and KPIs such as conversion, ARPPU, ARPDAU, attach rate, and LTV; Write SQL queries, build dashboards, and design and analyze A/B tests to guide decisions\nPartner with leadership, analytics, live operations, art, UX and engineering to plan the content roadmap and take monetization features from concept through launch, supported by clear design documentation\nPresent data-backed recommendations to leadership and mentor other designers on monetization best practices\nPerform all other duties as assigned \nQualifications & Skills:\n5-8 years of professional game design experience, with at least 4 years focused on monetization design\nAt least one shipped title on which you worked on monetization, with experience on PC and/or console titles\nHands-on experience designing storefronts, bundles, offers, and pricing structures\nStrong analytical skills, including SQL proficiency, A/B test design, statistical significance, and advanced spreadsheet modeling in Excel or Google Sheets\nExperience with analytics tools such as Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or Amplitude; Python, R, Snowflake, or BigQuery is a plus\nDeep understanding of player motivation and value perception, and familiarity with competitive, team-based and social games and their communities\nExcellent communication skills and the ability to influence cross-functional partners and leadership\nAll other duties as assigned\nAdditional Information:\nCandidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.\nThis role is based in Raleigh, NC, and we are primarily seeking candidates who are currently located in the area or are open to relocating.
