As a Design Engineering Intern, you will contribute to real-world engineering projects that support product design, development, and continuous improvement efforts. You will gain practical experience while helping create solutions that improve the productivity and success of farmers around the world.\nThis onsite Summer 2027 internship is based in Beloit, Kansas.\nYour Impact:\nTake ownership of an engineering project and present your results at the conclusion of the internship.\n\nCollaborate with engineers, project teams, and cross-functional partners to solve real-world product design challenges.\n\nSupport the design and development of agricultural equipment components and systems.\n\nCreate and revise 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, and product documentation.\n\nParticipate in design reviews and contribute ideas to improve product performance, quality, manufacturability, and reliability.\n\nAssist with engineering analysis, prototype evaluation, and validation activities.\n\nResearch design concepts and support continuous improvement initiatives.\n\nYour Experience and Qualifications:\nCurrently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or a related engineering/technology field and expected to continue enrollment after the Summer 2027 internship.\n\nWillingness to learn in a hands-on engineering environment.\n\nAbility to manage multiple tasks, stay organized, and meet deadlines.\n\nProfessional mindset and effective communication skills.\n\nFamiliarity with CAD or 3D modeling software such as Creo, SolidWorks, CATIA, or similar tools.\n\nWe value inclusion and recognize the innovation a diverse workforce delivers to our farmers.
