At AGCO, you will gain valuable practical experience that will really help you get ahead.\nAs an Embedded Software Engineering Intern, you will work with AGCO's global embedded platform development team, which develops common software frameworks and embedded hardware used across AGCO products. You will collaborate with experienced engineers, contribute to meaningful projects, and gain practical exposure to embedded systems, software development, testing, and automation in a professional engineering environment.\nThis internship may be performed onsite at an AGCO facility in Hesston, KS, Jackson, MN or remotely.\nYour Impact\nAssist in the development, integration, and testing of embedded software components under the guidance of experienced engineers\nSupport software and hardware validation activities, including bench testing and troubleshooting\nWrite and modify C/C++ code for embedded applications\nDevelop and execute unit tests, test scripts, and automation tools to improve software quality\nUse approved AI-assisted development tools to support coding, debugging, testing, documentation, and technical learning while reviewing and validating all generated output\nDocument software designs, test results, and technical findings\nParticipate in code reviews, sprint planning, team meetings, and other Agile development activities\nCollaborate with software and hardware engineers across global teams\nComplete an assigned internship project and present your results and learnings at the conclusion of the internship\nYour Experience and Qualifications\nCurrently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field\nExposure to programming through coursework, academic projects, personal projects, or extracurricular activities\nExperience using C, C++, or similar programming languages\nBasic understanding of software development principles, object-oriented programming, or data structures\nInterest in embedded systems, electronics, and how software interacts with hardware\nStrong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new technologies\nAbility to work independently with guidance and collaborate effectively within a team environment\nYour Compensation\nThis internship will pay within the range of $22-26/hour, based on experience.\nWe value inclusion and recognize the innovation a diverse workforce delivers to our farmers.
