Join us to make your contribution.\nAGCO is looking to hire candidates for the position of Product Cost Engineer\nResponsible for should costing of components using aPriori software (Hydraulics & Electronics,Sheet metal, Metal Fabrication, Machining, Painting processes)\nYour Impact\nPerform should-cost modelling to estimate product costs and identify potential design modifications for cost reduction.\n\nDevelop should-costing models and manufacturing process maps for key commodities including Hydraulics & Electronics,Sheet metal, Metal Fabrication, Machining, Painting and wire harness.\n\nDemonstrate strong understanding of the relationship between manufacturing processes/operations, geometric features, cycle time, and cost impact.\n\nCollaborate closely with engineering team sharing key takeaways from cost modelling and analysis work to inform design decisions from component level through full assembly techniques\n\nMaintain good awareness of current market rates for materials and manufacturing processes & equipment/machines.\n\nYour Experience and Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering\n6+years of work experience in Automotive/ Off-Highway/ Construction/ Agriculture industry or with a Supplier providing commodities to these industries (Sheet metal, Metal Fabrication, Machining, Painting and wire harness)\n4+ years of experience in aPriori, Creo and windchill tools.\nShould costing and process mapping expertise in commodities Sheet metal, Metal Fabrication, Machining, Painting, Wire harness etc \nYour Benefits\nGLOBAL DIVERSITY - Diversity means many things to us, different brands, cultures, nationalities, genders, generations - even variety in our roles.
