This strategic leadership role will be responsible for building and scaling a high-performing engineering team that supports AGCO's global Electronics, Software & Functional (EFG) Engineering organization.The successful candidate will drive engineering excellence across electronics, software, electrical systems, model-based engineering, digital engineering, and emerging AI-enabled development practices while collaborating closely with global teams across Europe, North America, and South America.This is a unique opportunity to shape AGCO's future engineering capabilities and create a best-cost global engineering hub that delivers innovative and scalable solutions for next-generation agricultural machinery.\nKey Responsibilities\nBuild & Scale Engineering Organization\nEstablish and grow AGCO's Electronics, Software & Electrical Engineering team in India.\nDefine organizational structure, capability requirements, and workforce plans.\nLead recruitment, onboarding, talent development, and succession planning.\nFoster collaboration with global engineering teams across Europe, North America, and Brazil.\nEngineering Leadership & Delivery\nLead end-to-end development activities across electronics, software, and electrical engineering.\nDrive engineering execution aligned with AGCO's product development system and V-cycle development methodology.\nEnsure delivery excellence, quality, and operational efficiency.\nModel-Based & Digital Engineering\nDrive adoption of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Model-Based Design (MBD).\nLead implementation of Digital Twin, simulation, and virtual validation capabilities.\nEstablish modern engineering practices that improve quality and reduce development cycles.\nElectrical & Software Systems Development\nOversee software architecture, embedded software development, and electrical system design.\nLead integration of electronic, electrical, and software systems into machine platforms.\nSupport user interface development and advanced engineering solutions.\nAI & Engineering Transformation\nChampion AI-enabled engineering practices across the organization.\nIdentify opportunities to improve engineering productivity through automation and AI.\nDrive innovation in software development, testing, validation, and systems engineering.\nPeople Leadership\nBuild, coach, and develop a high-performing engineering team.\nCreate a culture of innovation, collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement.\nEstablish performance objectives and development plans.\nRequired Qualifications & Experience\nBecholer's Degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.\n12-18 Years engineering leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams.\nStrong experience in embedded systems and software development.\nDeep knowledge of:Software Architecture\nModel-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)\nModel-Based Design (MBD)\nSimulation & Virtual Validation\nElectrical Systems Development\n\nExperience establishing or scaling engineering organizations.\nExperience working in global, cross-functional environments.\nInternational collaboration experience with European engineering organizations is highly preferred.\nPreferred Experience\nBuilding and managing engineering teams in India.\nDigital Twin implementation.\nAI-assisted engineering and software development.\nComplex electronics and software development programs.\nAgricultural, automotive, industrial equipment, aerospace, or heavy machinery industries.\nSuccess Measures\nThe successful candidate will be responsible for:\nBuilding and scaling AGCO's Electronics, Software & Electrical Engineering capability in India.\nDelivering high-quality engineering solutions on time and within budget.\nAccelerating adoption of MBSE, MBD, Digital Twin, and AI-enabled engineering practices.\nDeveloping a highly engaged and high-performing engineering organization.\nEnabling strong collaboration with AGCO's global engineering network.\nWhy Join AGCO?\nAt AGCO, you'll help shape the future of sustainable agriculture while working with cutting-edge technologies, global teams, and industry-leading engineering experts.
