middle-tier development experience with deep database development knowledge and a strong understanding of system design, performance, maintainability, and data integrity.\nResponsibilities Include:\nDesign, develop, and maintain middle-tier services and backend components using C# and .NET technologies that interact with Oracle databases and enterprise systems.\nTranslate business and functional requirements into scalable backend application designs and technical solutions.\nDevelop application business logic, APIs, services, interfaces, and data-access components that support business requirements.\nBuild robust RESTful APIs and business logic layers to support web applications and connectivity to external interfaces.\nImplement efficient application-to-database interactions using Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, stored procedures, and appropriate data-access frameworks.\nDesign, develop, optimize, and maintain relational databases (Oracle preferred) that load, store, and transmit complex data transactions (e.g., EDI).\nOptimize database performance, indexing strategies, and query tuning\nStrong understanding of database design principles and SQL, and ability to navigate between database and client web page technology.\nImplement actionable database code using complex SQL, PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, views, and other database objects.\nApply SOLID principles and clean architecture practices in application design.\nTroubleshoot and resolve production issues related to application logic and data layers\nContribute to architectural decisions and technical design discussions\nTroubleshoot application, integration, database connectivity, performance, and production issues across the application stack.\nCollaborate with frontend developers, Oracle database developers, business analysts, testers, architects, and infrastructure teams to solve critical business issues.\nSupport automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, application deployments, releases, and production operations.\nPrimary duty (≥50%) involves applying systems analysis techniques and designing/developing/testing software/services and databases to meet user/system specifications.\nRequired Skills, Qualifications and Experience:\nCitizenship and Clearance:Must be a US citizen.\nMust be able to achieve a NACLC clearance.\n\nExperience:Minimum 5 years related experience.\n\nEducation:Bachelor’s degree\n\nCertifications:DoD IAT Level II Certification, such as CompTIA Security+CE or equivalent\n\n Skills and Knowledge:Languages and Frameworks: RESTful APIs and middle-tier services\nExperience with ORM frameworks (Entity Framework preferred, Dapper)\nStrong SQL skills and experience with relational databases (Oracle preferred, SQL Server, PostgreSQL)\nExperience writing and optimizing complex queries and stored procedures\nStrong understanding of data modeling and database design principles\nExperience with version control systems (TFVC and Git)\nStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detail\n\nLocation:Hybrid Work Environment: Requires on-site work at the client facility in Northeast Philadelphia, PA, each Wednesday.Candidates should be aware that the Government may increase the on-site requirement in the future.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) is a
