They independently solve complex technical problems, support major projects, and help maintain a stable and efficient operational environment.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nProvide advanced technical support, analysis, and guidance on complex infrastructure matters.\nServe as a technical expert to project teams, offering interpretation and solution alternatives.\nEnsure hardware, operating systems, and software comply with organizational and regulatory requirements.\nDocument system specifications, project plans, configurations, and testing activities.\nContribute to research and development efforts that enhance infrastructure capabilities.\nLead or support major technical projects, applying creative and effective problem-\nIdentify and resolve operational issues within the existing environment.\nAssign routine tasks to support staff and provide technical direction as needed.\nPrepare and maintain documentation for system requirements, project plans, configurations, and testing processes.\nSupport research and development initiatives aimed at improving infrastructure functionality.\nTake the lead or assist with significant technical projects, using innovative and practical problem-solving approaches.\nDiagnose and address operational problems within the current environment.\nDelegate routine assignments to support staff and offer technical guidance when necessary.\nSupport storage system security, ensuring deployments and configurations adhere to DISA STIGs as well as DoD cybersecurity policies.\nCoordinate the team’s support for after-hours troubleshooting and incident response.\nProvide storage, backup, and system administration.\nSupport on-premises and cloud-hosted environments.\nSupport management related tasks as required to include onboarding, offboarding, and compiling/reviewing status and progress reports.\nRequired Skills, Qualifications and Experience:\n Required Experience:Two (2) years of experience in an advisory or managerial role supporting DoD or Federal enterprise infrastructure, including evaluating, integrating, and implementing enterprise-level storage and backup software technologies.\nFive (5) years of hands-on experience with enterprise SAN (Storage Area Network) management, including technologies such as Fiber Channel zoning, iSCSI, FCoE, unified fabric, HBAs/CNAs, storage controllers, LUNs, RAID, and file sharing/NAS (Network Addressable Storage).\nHands-on experience managing enterprise hierarchical storage systems and operating enterprise backup and restore services using tools such as Veritas NetBackup.\nThree (3) years of hands-on experience working with Department of Defense (DoD) IT systems.\n\n Required Certifications:DoD 8570 IAT II Certification\nMust also have one of the following Computing Environment certifications:AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional\nMicrosoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert\nHitachi Data Systems Qualified Professional Storage Administration\nDell Certified Associate Information Storage and Management\nNetApp Certified Data Administrator (ONTAP)\nNetApp Certified Hybrid Cloud Administrator\nNetApp Certified Hybrid Cloud Architect\nNetApp Certified Implementation Engineer SAN Specialist (ONTAP)\nNetApp Certified hybrid Cloud Implementation Engineer\nVeritas Certified Specialist Backup 10.x\n\nRequired Security Clearance:Current DoD Top Secret Clearance Required\n\n Work Location:Must be able to work onsite full-time at one of the following client locations:MI: Battle Creek\nOH: Columbus, Dayton\nVA: Fort Belvoir, Richmond\nUT: Hill AFB (Ogden)\nPA: New Cumberland, Philadelphia, PA\nCA: Tracy\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nDoD 8570 IAT III Certification\nWork Environment and Physical Demand:\nMust be able to work in a network closet and sit a computer desk for long periods of time.\nMust be able to lift between 35-40lbs to shoulder height multiple times a day.\nCompensation: $105,000+\nAt AGE Solutions, we reward performance, invest in growth, and share success.
