In this role, you will manage bookkeeping staff, oversee all core accounting functions, support the month-end close, and work closely with the fractional CFO. You will be an essential part of the team as we continue to expand.\nKey Responsibilities:\nManage and supervise bookkeeping staff and oversee division of duties.\n\nTake full responsibility for accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) management across multiple client accounts.\n\nEnsure comprehensive month-end close, including booking transactions, making adjusting journal entries, and preparing financial statements for review.\n\nMaintain proficiency in and day-to-day use of Ramp (AP platform) and QuickBooks Online.\n\nProvide reliable financial data for forecasting and support the fractional CFO with financial modeling (mainly Excel) and data entry when needed.\n\nReview and correct financials prior to CFO review, minimizing the need for additional adjustments.\n\nParticipate in special projects as needed, including due diligence for fundraising or acquisition, and preparation for audits.\n\nCommunicate clearly with team members and clients; work collaboratively but independently.\n\nQualifications:\nAt least 2-5 years of experience as a Controller\n\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting required.\n\nSolid understanding of GAAP and accounting process management.\n\nProficiency with QuickBooks Online required; Ramp experience preferred but not required.\n\nStrong analytical skills and attention to detail.\n\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills.\n\nExperience with financial reporting (P&L, Balance Sheet, Statement of Cash Flows).\n\nWillingness and ability to work US business hours.\n\nEntrepreneurial, proactive, and eager to learn; experience with due diligence or audit processes is a
