This role is ideal for someone who understands complex fabrication projects, can manage multiple bids with strong attention to detail, and is comfortable working independently in a remote environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nPerform detailed material takeoffs and quantity takeoffs for structural metal fabrication projects\n\nPrepare accurate estimates, bids, and pricing proposals\n\nReview drawings, specifications, and project requirements to identify scope and potential cost impacts\n\nPrepare submittals, revisions, and RFI responses\n\nCoordinate with vendors, subcontractors, clients, and internal team members\n\nCommunicate with clients and vendors by phone when necessary\n\nSupport pre-construction activities and subcontractor coordination\n\nManage multiple estimates and project deadlines simultaneously\n\nWork within the company's internal job tracking and AI-powered quoting system\n\nCollaborate remotely with Mark VeRost and the senior estimator to review estimates and maintain pricing accuracy\n\nIdentify potential scope gaps, discrepancies, and estimating risks before bids are submitted\n\nRequired Qualifications\n3+ years of structural fabrication estimating experience\n\nStrong experience with takeoffs, bid preparation, and cost estimation\n\nBackground in structural steel, custom metal fabrication, or related heavy fabrication\n\nStrong attention to detail and a proven track record of estimate accuracy\n\nFluent English, both written and verbal\n\nStrong communication, coordination, and organizational skills\n\nAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively with a remote team\n\nComfortable learning and working within multiple software platforms and internal systems\n\nAble to commit to a full-time, 40-hour/week schedule\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with wastewater treatment projects\n\nExperience estimating skids, heavy structural projects, or complex custom fabrication\n\nExperience working on US-based construction or fabrication projects\n\nCivil engineering degree or equivalent technical/trade experience\n\nExperience with PlanSwift, Bluebeam, Procore,
