An FSE performs technical support for Agfa Healthcare’s imaging products. The employee will be based from home and will be trained in-house to be responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance and servicing of imaging equipment and associated ICT/electrical equipment.\nThe individual must be customer focused at all times, must be prepared to work alone and as part of a team, be able to interact well with colleagues, customers and third party trades in a professional and tactful manner, and in doing so present a positive image of the Company.\nSupport and training will be provided in all modalities and will involve travel to Germany undergo face to face, hands-on product training.\nTravel also required within the UK to shadow skilled engineers and work with installation teams.\nThis role will suit someone who is keen to use their electrical knowledge to develop a career in the medical equipment industry through a 3-4 year Development Plan.\nJob role & responsibilities:\n\nProblem-solving in a responsible and methodical manner whilst carrying out effective customer liaison skills to ensure total customer satisfaction.\nProduce accurate and sufficiently detailed reports to ensure that the customer is kept informed about the work and to satisfy H&S compliance record keeping.\nObserve and adhere to company health & safety guidelines and contribute to a healthy and safe working environment. \nThe ability to manage your own schedule when required for field based installations, corrective actions, upgrades and preventative maintenance.\nFlexibility to work away from home as required.\nTo manage return of equipment and parts in a compliant timely manner to ISO and WEEE procedures\nTo have an empathy to working within a medical environment.\nQualifications:\n\nDegree, HND or similar in Engineering/Electronics.
