From world-class events that last a few weeks to mining operations and remote communities who rely on us for decades.\nWhat you’ll do as Business Development Manager:\nYou will be responsible for assigned region as subject matter expert providing technical support and collaborative sales guidance of outside sales representatives and be a direct seller on larger complex projects in the industrial sectors.\n\nCapable of working at the plant level with customer equipment owner and subject matter experts\n\nConduct Executive Level Communication within both the accounts and Aggreko\n\nActively pursue and secure key/strategic accounts\n\nPerform site visits, visualize and convey piping and hydraulic solutions, prepare and present solution-based proposals\n\nDevelop strategic capture plans for individual projects and accounts understanding customer needs and pain points, decision makers and buying process\n\nSell Aggreko value by promoting value propositions\n\nServe as product expert being able to solve routine product/systems issues\n\nDevelop and clearly articulate account growth plans by product\n\nMeet territory sales and standard margin goals\n\nDevelop and cultivate customer relationships by meeting with customers, conducting presentations, and discussing existing projects\n\nProvide expert product knowledge across all product lines\n\nPerform thermal and hydraulic calculations and simulations to design optimal cooling tower solutions,\n\nPrepare technical specifications, drawings, and proposals for cooling tower and pumping projects.\n\nProviding technical support and guidance to customers and sales reps throughout the project lifecycle\n\nStaying updated on the latest trends and developments in the cooling tower industry,\n\nParticipating in industry events and associations, such as Cooling Technology Institute (CTI), ASHRAE, Eurovent, etc.\n\nYou’ll have the following skills and experience:\nBachelor’s degree preferred, notably in Engineering or another technical field\n10+ years’ experience in industrial sales, preferably rotating equipment with at least 5 years of relevant experience in the cooling tower industry\n\nKnowledge of cooling tower applications within chemical/refining/industrial/HVAC commercial and contracting markets\n\nChemical treatment, manufacturer’s rep., project management, engineering, or distributor sales experience helpful\n\nSalesforce (CRM)\n\nA solid understanding of thermal dynamics, hydraulics, pumps, piping systems, fan laws, and electrical basics\n\nAn application knowledge of chemical treatment of cooling tower\n\nEnvironmental awareness (drift, blow down, energy conservation, wastewater, thermal discharge, along with a health and safety awareness (legionella)\n\nCertifications, skills, abilities:\nMicrosoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word\n\nDriver’s license and proof of insurance\n\nExperience with reading mechanical drawings, piping isometrics, and electrical SLD\n\nHere's what you'll get:\nWork from home or in a local service center\n\nCompetitive compensation - Base salary $120K - $150K per year\n\nUncapped quarterly bonus structure\n\nMonthly car allowance\n\nNo cost medical plan option available\n\nPaid training programs and tuition reimbursement\n\nSales career growth potential in expertise, leadership and across territories\n\nSafety-focused culture\n\nJoin us, bring your energy, and grow your career.\nEqual employment opportunity\nWe welcome people from different backgrounds and cultures, and respect people’s unique skills, attitudes and experiences.
