You will partner closely with the Senior FP&A Manager and Finance Business Partners to deliver high-quality financial analysis, performance insights, and planning support, with a primary focus on our UK Manufacturing division. From world-class events that last a few weeks to mining operations and remote communities who rely on us for decades.\nWhat you'll do as a Financial Analyst:\nLead financial planning cycles, including annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and 5-year strategic planning, ensuring robust assumptions and accurate product pricing.\nManage the smooth month-end close process, prepare comprehensive management reports, and deliver insightful variance analysis and commentary for key financial metrics.\nProvide detailed analysis of manufacturing costs, performance, and key operational KPIs, identifying risks, opportunities, and trends for stakeholders.\nActively support working capital initiatives and provide thorough financial evaluation, monitoring, and tracking of capital expenditure proposals and investments.\nEnsure a strong controls environment, assist with internal and external audit queries, and support tax and compliance submissions like VAT returns.\nDrive process and data improvement initiatives, developing financial models, reports, and dashboards to enhance efficiency and automation within FP&A.\nYou are:\nA qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).\nPossessing proven experience in FP&A, management accounting, commercial finance or operational finance.\nEquipped with strong financial modelling and analytical skills, and a strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.\nAn excellent communicator with the ability to explain complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.\nHighly proficient in Excel, with experience in Power BI being desirable.\nAble to analyse complex financial and operational data to identify key drivers and call-outs.\nDemonstrating strong attention to detail without losing sight of the wider business context.\nExperience working with manufacturing, operations or cost-based environments would be advantageous.\nHere's what you'll get:\nA competitive salary and benefits package (including but not limited to pension plan, bonus scheme and Life Assurance).\nGenerous holiday entitlement, with the option to buy or sell additional days.\nDiscounts and perks.\nAccess to our Employee Assistance Programme, which helps promote and support a healthy lifestyle.\nThe opportunity to shape and enhance the financial environment within a global business operating across multiple countries and jurisdictions.\nOur people are can-do, positive, resilient and persistent.
