The incumbent will be responsible to lead the multiple program/projects across functions to ensure the timely delivery of results as per business strategy. The incumbent needs to collaborate with Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, and other partner function at local and group level to drive the seamless planning and execution. Going forward, multiple variants of existing product line and new products will also be introduced in the same facility. This role requires a strong execution ability in program related to setting of global engineering and procurement hub, cost optimization local/global sourcing projects and product ionisation of the new products as per the requirements.\nPower without pause. From world-class events that last a few weeks to mining operations and remote communities who rely on us for decades.\nWhat you’ll do:\n End-to-End NPI & Phase-Gate Governance: Establish, implement, and govern robust New Product Introduction (NPI) frameworks from prototype to mass production-managing master schedules, critical paths, and phase-gate exit criteria in alignment with global operations strategy.\nCross-Functional & Partner Build Readiness: Lead alignment across engineering, operations, procurement, and external contract manufacturers to ensure complete operational readiness and seamless product transitions.\n Techno-Commercial Change & Delivery Excellence (QCD / DIFOT): Manage the end-to-end engineering change process while tracking and optimising Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) metrics to consistently achieve Delivered-In-Full-On-Time (DIFOT) and budget targets.\nProactive Risk Mitigation & Issue Resolution: Identify technical, operational, and supply chain bottlenecks early; implement rapid corrective actions and structured mitigation plans to prevent milestone slippage.\n Single Point of Contact (SPOC) & Executive Governance: Serve as the primary focal point for all assigned programs, leading stakeholder, functional, and executive reviews while maintaining clear visibility on program health, risks, and milestone documentation.\nTalent Development & Succession Planning: Upskill and mentor team members, cultivate cross-functional business acumen, and build robust organizational capability and succession pipelines for critical roles.\nYou are:\nProven experience working in Manufacturing Industry - Automotive, Heavy Engineering, Industrial, Mining\nEngineer by qualification with 18 years and above experience, MBA preferred\nEngineering, Manufacturing, Program/New Product Introduction Management Background\nHand-on experience on ERP and Project/Program management techniques \nProduct cost, SCM, Make or buy, Cost control experience\nTechno-Commercial experience and mindset\nFamiliarity with Matrix organization and reporting structure\nInternational & multi-stakeholders management exposure\nProficient with Microsoft Office applications and computer technology\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nStrong leadership and managerial attributes.\nGood organizational and time-management skills\nWhat you’ll get:\nA full-time role based in Pune.\nCompetitive Compensation & Benefits\nDynamic & Supportive Work Environment: Thrive in an innovative and forward-thinking culture that values your expertise and will foster professional growth.\nAccelerate your career with dedicated pathways for advancement, access to specialised training programs and ample opportunities for skill enhancement.\nOur people are can-do, positive, resilient and persistent.
