This position will be responsible for ensuring that all construction activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in strict compliance with project specifications, electrical codes, and quality standards. This role is a multi-disciplinary role and requires strong leadership, technical expertise in both Thermal Generation, Solar and BESS technologies, and a commitment to project success.\nBenefits:\nOpportunity to be pivotal in the delivery of a land mark Renewable Power Project\nCompetitive compensation\nSafety-focused culture\nA range of career development opportunities\nWhat you’ll do as Construction Lead (Electrical) :\n\nOversee the installation, testing, and pre-commissioning of all the construction activities, including, but not limited to, the electrical systems, including MV/HV switchgear, transformers, generators, control panels, cabling, grounding, and lighting systems for Thermal , Solar and BESS systems.\nEnsure proper integration of the Solar and BESS electrical systems with the thermal plant off grid connection.\nInterpret electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.\nConduct regular site inspections to identify, mitigate, and control hazards.\nCo-ordinate tasks, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to project schedules and milestones.\nConduct regular toolbox talks and safety briefings.\nCollaborate with the Project and engineering teams to ensure seamless project execution.\nMonitor the quality of the installation, ensuring workmanship meets project standards and specifications.\nOversee pre-commissioning checks, functional testing, and support commissioning activities.\nSubcontractor Management across Multi-Disciplinary Teams\nProvide daily progress reports to the Construction Manager, highlighting achievements, challenges, and resource needs. You are: \nMinimum of 10-15 years of experience in Industrial Installations and supervision, with at least 5 years in high voltage power generation projects.\nProven experience with both thermal power plant electrical systems, Solar and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).\nProficiency in reading and interpreting drawings, schematics, and technical documents.\nStrong understanding of testing equipment and procedures\nValid Electrician's License\nVocational training, Supervisor training or similar (S1,2,3)\nValid driver's license & First Aid Cert\n\n Our people are can-do, positive, resilient and persistent.
