The role is responsible for leading the Project Procurement and Indirect Procurement team. From world-class events that last a few weeks to mining operations and remote communities who rely on us for decades.\nWhat you’ll do:\nLead Contracts Management: Drive contract strategy, negotiation, execution, and administration for major procurement projects and indirect spend categories, ensuring protection of business interests.\nLead Project Procurement Activities: Manage procurement for project-related needs, including capital equipment like Chillers, Air compressors, Load banks, Transformers, and strategic project requirements.\n Develop Sourcing & Category Strategies: Formulate and implement sourcing strategies for indirect categories (e.g., Facilities Management, IT, Professional Services) and develop overall category strategies aligned with global procurement policies.\nManage Supplier Relationships & Performance: Build strategic supplier relationships, lead performance reviews, and drive supplier development, innovation, sustainability, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nAct as Strategic Stakeholder Partner: Serve as a trusted procurement partner for project teams, business stakeholders, and senior leadership, providing governance and commercial guidance on strategic initiatives.\nDrive Cost Optimization & Team Development: Deliver annual procurement savings and cost avoidance targets while leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performance team of Category Managers across various procurement functions.\nYou are:\nBachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Commerce, or related discipline.\nMBA or Postgraduate qualification in Supply Chain, Procurement, or Business Management preferred.\n15+ years of procurement and contracts management experience with\n5+ Years of experiences in leading Project and Indirect Category managers teams\nProven experience managing both project procurement and indirect procurement categories.\nStrong background in contract negotiation, category management, and supplier relationship management.\nExperience leading cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams.\nManufacturing, industrial, engineering, energy, infrastructure, or project-driven industry experience preferred.\nWhat you’ll get:\nA full-time role based in Pune.\nCompetitive Compensation & Benefits\nDynamic & Supportive Work Environment: Thrive in an innovative and forward-thinking culture that values your expertise and will foster professional growth.\nAccelerate your career with dedicated pathways for advancement, access to specialised training programs and ample opportunities for skill enhancement.\nOur people are can-do, positive, resilient and persistent.
