Here are some of the perks and rewards.\nInnovative Projects: Be at the forefront of sustainable energy solutions, making a real impact.\nProfessional Growth: Benefit from ongoing training and career development opportunities.\nDiverse and Inclusive Team: Join a global, collaborative, and supportive work environment.\nCompetitive Benefits - Enjoy market-leading pay, bonuses, and career progression.\nWhat you’ll do:\nUndertake design and review detailed control systems (PLC, SCADA and network).\nDevelop, review and maintain PLC control philosophies, functional descriptions, cause-and-effect documentation, control narratives and system architecture.\nSupport PLC programming and software development.\nReview and verify PLC, SCADA, HMI and industrial network designs prepared by and, provide technical direction and supervision to engineering consultants and vendors.\nReview control system drawings, I/O lists, network architecture, interface schedules, alarm lists, control philosophies and functional design specifications.\nCoordinate interfaces between the control system and electrical, mechanical, BESS, solar, thermal generation and balance-of-plant systems.\nReview communication protocols and interfaces including Ethernet/IP, Modbus TCP/IP , OPC UA and other industrial communication systems as applicable.\nDevelop and witnessing Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).\nAttend vendor facilities for FAT and system integration testing as required.\nSupport Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), functional testing and pre-commissioning.\nProvide hands-on troubleshooting and technical support during commissioning and plant performance testing.\nEnsure control system documentation, software backups, configuration files and final as-built documentation are appropriately managed and handed over to Operations.\nYou’ll have the following skills and experience:\nA degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering or a related discipline.\nSignificant experience in control systems engineering within power generation, utilities, mining, oil and gas, renewables or other major industrial environments.\nGood understanding of PLC architecture, remote I/O, instrumentation interfaces and industrial communication protocols.\nStrong hands-on experience with PLC Allen-Bradley, Schnieder and Codesys programming.\nStrong experience with PlantSCADA systems.\nExperience designing, reviewing or troubleshooting industrial Ethernet networks.\nExperience preparing and reviewing functional design specifications and control philosophies.\nDemonstrated experience supervising or technically managing engineering consultants and system integrators.\nPractical experience with FAT, SAT, commissioning and troubleshooting complex control systems.\nExperience working with multidisciplinary engineering and construction teams.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nA practical, delivery-focused approach and the ability to work independently when required.\nKnowledge of industrial cybersecurity and OT network design will also be advantageous.\nIf you’re ready to take your career to the next level and contribute to a more sustainable future, we’d love to hear from you!\nApply today and be part of the change.\nJoin us.
