This includes delivering positive operational performance results, leading and coordinating operations teams (primarily technicians), and having direct responsibility for customer service delivery and the coordination and facilitation of core operations activities.\nWhat you’ll do as Operations Manager:\nManagement of major repairs and overhauls on time, to standard and within agreed budgets for both specific repairs and overall department budgets.\nEnsure the timely maintenance, availability and reliability of fleet for deployment.\nEnsure accuracy of Fleet Readiness, utilisation, inventory, and other related information.\nResponsible for Fleet test and turn.\nEnsure completion of PM servicing & oil sampling.\nDrive Retrofit and checklist completions.\nAccountable for Parts supply and core returns.\nSupport the serialised Physical Assets Verification (twice yearly) exercises and ensures consistency of data in Movex and fixed asset registers.\nAccountable for delivery on all key operations metrics such as sets in service, on-time service completions, etc.\nDrive HSE issues through high personal involvement and visibility.\nDevelop strong working relationships and good communications with stakeholders.\nExcellent, responsive communication with customers.\nFrequent feedback to internal and external stakeholders.\nProper planning and successful execution accrding to the plan.\nAudit and make recommendations that will ensure that all facilities are operated and maintained in line with the Company’s Global Service Centre Management Standards.\nResponsible for technician supervision and deployment through planning and scheduling.\nEnsure adherence to safety practices and quality standards.\nYou are:\nTrade or engineering qualifications, preferably as an electrician, diesel mechanic, or gas mechanic.\nAt least 8 years’ experience in the power industry with team management experience.\nDrive for Results: Exceeds goals, is a top performer, and pushes self and others for results.\nAbility to lead, develop, and maintain relationships with all departments.\nCustomer Focus: Dedicated to meeting internal and external customer expectations, uses customer information for improvements, acts with customers in mind, and builds effective relationships.\nPlanning: Accurately scopes tasks and projects, sets objectives and goals, breaks down work, develops schedules, anticipates problems, measures performance, and evaluates results.\nDecision Quality: Makes good decisions based on analysis, wisdom, experience, and judgment, with solutions proving correct and accurate over time.\nInterpersonal Savvy: Relates well to all types of people, builds rapport, uses diplomacy and tact, and can diffuse high-tension situations.\nHere’s what you’ll get:\nFull-time position to be based in Mozambique\nCompetitive compensation package & annual bonus program\nIndustry-leading benefit plans\nContinuous training and development with career growth opportunities\nSafety-focused culture\nOur people are can-do, positive, resilient and persistent.
