You'll play a pivotal role in strengthening Aggreko's relationship with Microsoft by ensuring the seamless and efficient operation of logistics for all Microsoft load bank equipment. You'll be responsible for the strategic oversight and direct execution support for the inventory, warehousing, and transport of a large catalogue of small items across Aggreko depots and Microsoft Data Centre sites.\nPower without pause. From world-class events that last a few weeks to mining operations and remote communities who rely on us for decades.\nWhat you'll do a Project Lead - Data Centres:\nDevelop excellent working relationships with our valued Microsoft stakeholders\nLead and manage the transport, warehousing, and inventory operations for all Microsoft equipment items at Aggreko depots / sites in the Auspac region\nPerform and support the on-site technical aspects of project delivery related to Microsoft equipment, including mobilisation, installation, commissioning assistance, testing, and demobilisation\nOwn and lead the delivery/collection handover process for Microsoft Data Centre sites, working in close collaboration with Microsoft Customer Experience Managers and General Contractor\nSet up and optimize appropriate facilities, systems, and processes specifically for the inventory and warehousing of Microsoft equipment, ensuring agility and efficiency\nEstablish and maintain strong working relationships with all internal and external parties\nContinuously establish and improve core processes and documentation related to logistics and handover procedures\nActively manage, direct and guide operational team members to support logistics activities across all Auspac cities\nProvide regular reporting on the progress of process improvements, compliance and safety\nIdentify and escalate on-site technical risks or issues promptly, liaising with relevant support functions (Sales/Engineering/Logistics) to mitigate risks\nYou be / have:\nHold a current electrical license\nSignificant experience in third-party logistics, warehousing, transport, and inventory operations.\nProven hands-on experience with equipment operation, installation, and commissioning, particularly relevant to the logistics and handover of small equipment.\nProven ability in setting up and improving systems and processes for continuous improvement, with a focus on technical delivery aspects.\nDemonstrated high standard of work and exceptional attention to detail in both logistical and technical contexts.\nStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to address operational and technical issues efficiently.\nExcellent technical communication skills with the ability to work work collaboratively and engage with diverse internal and external stakeholders\nStrong planning and coordination skills for both logistical and on-site activities.\nWillingness and ability to travel frequently to various sites across the Auspac region, often working outside of normal working hours to meet project demands.\nAbility to interpret technical drawings and schematics, and a general understanding of equipment to identify types, appearance, damage, and pairing requirements.\nHere’s what you’ll get:\nHourly rate + OT + Tool allowance + service vehicle\nSafety-focused culture\nCommunity volunteering program\nOpportunity to work on projects across AUSPAC\nOur people are can-do, positive, resilient and persistent.
