From world-class events that last a few weeks to mining operations and remote communities who rely on us for decades.\nWhat you’ll do as a Security Operations Team Lead:\nLead a lean, empowered inhouse Security Operations team, actively driving security technology rollouts, vulnerability management and security awareness across the global business.\nHold responsibility for managing both day-to-day security operations and escalation / security incident management.\nEnsuring consistent application of evolving security processes and compliance across the business, including within the IT function itself.\nCollaborate closely with external suppliers and manage key security service forums to contribute useful insights into capacity planning, trend analysis, and ongoing security roadmaps.\nDrive the Security Operations team to success through confident technical leadership, fostering a collaborative environment, ensuring effective hand-offs, and maintaining a structured approach to issue tracking and task completion.\nProvide summary reporting and guidance to the IT Senior Leadership Team.\nYou are:\nExperienced in leading and managing technical teams in a large, global business environment, with a hands-on approach to people and technical leadership.\nKnowledgeable with a deep understanding of both the concepts and practical application of modern security frameworks and governance standards such as ISO27001, Cyber Essentials Plus, NIS-2, and SOX.\nExperienced in modern security tooling with hands-on experience of Palo Alto, Qualys, Cisco and Microsoft security technologies, together with security in Azure/AWS cloud environments a definite bonus.\nConfident in all aspects of identity security, including user and managed identities on modern platforms (Entra/Active Directory).\nSkilled in advanced ongoing vulnerability management, with experience managing a significant sized endpoint and server fleet from initial detection scanning through to vulnerability resolution or mitigation.\nHere’s what you’ll get:\nA competitive salary and benefits package (including but not limited to pension plan, bonus scheme, and Life Assurance) \nHybrid working, typically 3 days from home, 2 days in the office\nGenerous holiday entitlement, with option to ‘buy’ or ‘sell‘ \nDiscounts & perks \nAccess to our Employee Assistance Programme, which helps promote and support a healthy lifestyle \nOur people are can-do, positive, resilient and persistent.
