From world-class events that last a few weeks to mining operations and remote communities who rely on us for decades.\nWhat you’ll do:\nBe based out of our Mobile, AL service center, with the opportunity to work overtime and weekends and potential for travel.\n\nPerform preventive maintenance and repairs of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and/or oil free air compressors.\n\nTroubleshoot equipment failures at the shop and on customer locations, and handle the repairs.\n\nWork either on your own or teamed up with another technician(s) to set up and operate equipment at the shop and on customer sites.\n\nYou are:\nA High School diploma or GED.\n\n3+ years of experience working on power generators, HVAC, or temperature control equipment, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs.\n\nExperience calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements, along with reading and understanding schematics.\n\nA valid driver’s license; depending on customer requirements, you may also be required to obtain and maintain a TWIC card or a valid DOT medical card.\n\nThe ability to move or lift objects, typically less than 75lbs.\n\nHere’s what you’ll get:\nFull-time role with potential for overtime and/or weekend work.\n\nAnnual bonus program.\n\nPersonal use vehicle.\n\nNo premium cost medical plan option available.\n\nRobust technical training programs, in person and virtual, covering diesel, gas, compressed air, electrical, controls, oil free air compressors, HVAC, microgrid & storage, and more.\n\nCareer growth opportunities and tuition reimbursement available.\n\nA safety-focused culture, working with brand new technology.\n\nOther essential job requirements\nAvailability to work the assigned schedule, travel to work locations (if needed) and be on standby for work outside of regularly scheduled shifts\n\nMust be able to stand, walk and sit for prolonged periods of time; and be able to walk over uneven terrain with functional balance that does not require any special assistive devices\n\nMust be able to move the extremities and spine through a functional range of motion that will permit work to be safely performed from ground / floor level to full overhead level\n\nMust have good finger dexterity to manipulate small items, functional hand-eye coordination, and functionally grip with adequate strength to safely hold tools and stair railing or ladders\n\nMust be able to safely meet the physical demands outlined in the Essential Physical Capacities Assessment and pass the post-offer physical abilities assessment, which includes being able to lift (60 lbs), push/pull (80 lbs), carry (60 lbs), climb stairs and ladders as well as a combination of climbing while carrying objects (15 lbs), stoop, kneel and squat\n\nOur people are can-do, positive, resilient and persistent.
