From world-class events that last a few weeks to mining operations and remote communities who rely on us for decades.\nWhat you'll be doing as Utility Technician in Pearland, TX\nMaintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular cycle counts and audit, and ensure parts are properly stored and organized. \nSupport efficient shop operations by coordinating deliveries and keeping delivery trucks moving in a timely manner. \nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while adhering to all company safety policies and procedures. \nReceive, inspect, verify, and properly store parts and materials for Aggreko's natural gas generators and temperature control equipment.\nOrganize and maintain inventory in racks, bins, containers, and designated warehouse locations.\nPick, stage, pack, and prepare materials and parts for work orders, shipping, and distribution.\nCoordinate the movement of materials, parts, and assemblies between departments to support production schedules and customer requirements.\nMaintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts, inventory audits, and stock reconciliations.\nOperate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently.\nConduct routine forklift inspections and maintenance checks to ensure equipment remains in safe working condition.\nEnsure the safety of personnel, equipment, facilities, and materials during all warehouse and forklift operations.\nRespond to after-hours and on-call requirements as needed to support 24/7 operational coverage.\nFollow all company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements while promoting a culture of safety and operational excellence.\nYou are:\nHigh School diploma/GED or equivalent\n0-3 years of experience working in a yard or warehouse.\nExcellent customer service skills\nEmbraces and promotes safety culture\nPositive, self-starter who enjoys working with others in a fast-paced environment to deliver consistent quality\nReliable and committed to delivering quality performance\nAble to work overtime, travel and on-call\nAbility to move or lift objects, typically less than 75lbs.\nHere's what you get:\nFull-time with potential for overtime and/or weekends\nNo premium cost medical plan option available\nAnnual Bonus Program\nRobust technical training programs, in person and virtual, on diesel, gas, compressed air, electrical, controls, oil free air compressors, HVAC, microgrid & storage and more\nCareer growth opportunities and tuition reimbursement available\nSafety-focused culture working on brand new technology\nOther essential job requirements\nAvailability to work the assigned schedule, travel to work locations (if needed) and be on standby for work outside of regularly scheduled shifts\nMust be able to stand, walk and sit for prolonged periods of time; and be able to walk over uneven terrain with functional balance that does not require any special assistive devices\nMust be able to move the extremities and spine through a functional range of motion that will permit work to be safely performed from ground / floor level to full overhead level\nMust have good finger dexterity to manipulate small items, functional hand-eye coordination, and functionally grip with adequate strength to safely hold tools and stair railing or ladders\nMust be able to safely meet the physical demands outlined in the Essential Physical Capacities Assessment and pass the post-offer physical abilities assessment, which includes being able to lift (60 lbs.), push/pull (80 lbs.), carry (60 lbs.), climb stairs and ladders as well as a combination of climbing while carrying objects (15 lbs.), stoop, kneel and squat.\nOur people are can-do, positive, resilient, and persistent.
