With over 3,800 employees and over 30 global manufacturing brands, AGI is a leading provider of equipment and technology solutions for agricultural commodities including seed, fertilizer, grain and feed systems and an expanding platform for food processing facilities.\nThe Opportunity\nReporting to the Facilities Manager, the Electrician will be responsible for the day-to-day troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of the facility’s electrical systems.\nResponsibilities:\nDay to day trouble shooting, repair and installation of low and high voltage (single/three phase) industrial electro-mechanical and control systems.\nRepair, troubleshooting and installation of machinery including electrical and electronic equipment, control systems and automation.\nElectrical wiring and testing of automated systems.\nPreventative maintenance and servicing metal forming equipment.\nPLC and HMI programming changes and troubleshooting including modification and calibration of equipment.\nOptimize equipment safety, efficiency and reliability, participating in continuous improvement projects and completing work orders according to PM schedules.\nEnsure completion of required documentation, legal standards compliance,\nAssist in maintaining documentation for existing and new equipment, control, and building power system installations.\nMust read and interpret electrical and electronic drawings, schematics, blueprints, engineering drawings and sketches to determine problem and make appropriate repairs.\nCreation/updating of electrical parts lists as required.\nProvide assistance to mechanical installations as directed.\nWork with engineering, production and outside contractors to solve design, developmental and other improvement initiatives.\nQualifications:\n A valid Journeyman Electrician certificate is a prerequisite.\n5 to 8 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing processes. 3 to 5 years of experience with PLC and HMI programming and troubleshooting skills required.\nExperience with a wide range of PLC hardware systems including and not limited to PLC5, SLC, Control Logix, Motion Control, Micorlogix, Panel View, Indromat drive, and Power Flex Drives.\nExcels at interpreting manuals, blueprints, schematics, written instructions and maintaining logs.\nWhy AGI?\nWe’re leading the way in global food supply chain solutions and here’s how:\nWe’re the leading global expert in providing farmers, processors and commercial customers with the right equipment and customized engineering solutions to produce, protect and deliver the world’s grain, fertilizer, seed, feed and food supplies.
