  • Support applicable IAVA/IAVB/IAVM, STIG, vulnerability-remediation, and cybersecurity-hardening activities affecting network infrastructure.
  • Coordinate with Cybersecurity personnel to remediate vulnerabilities and maintain secure network configurations.
  • Maintain configuration baselines and participate in formal configuration- and change-management processes.
  • Maintain current network diagrams, architecture documentation, equipment configurations, circuit information, SOPs, troubleshooting procedures, and other technical documentation.
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and After Action Reports (AARs) for significant outages, maintenance activities, upgrades, and network incidents.
  • Identify network equipment approaching End-of-Life (EOL) or End-of-Support (EOS) and provide recommendations for technology refresh and replacement.
  • Support network equipment replacement and Return Material Authorization (RMA) activities.
  • Support network modernization, upgrades, migrations, installations, and technology-refresh initiatives.
  • Coordinate with Cable/Infrastructure Technicians concerning premise wiring, patch panels, network closets, fiber/copper connections, and physical connectivity issues.
  • Work with Systems Engineers and Systems Administrators to troubleshoot network-dependent services and application connectivity.
  • Coordinate with Cloud Engineers concerning connectivity between on-premises environments and Microsoft Azure/cloud resources.
  • Provide Tier III escalation support for complex network problems escalated by Systems Administrators and Technical Support personnel.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to network, systems, and support personnel.
