The ideal candidate will have experience in negotiating contract artifacts such as Non-Disclosure Agreements, Teaming Agreements, Prime Contracts and Subcontracts, and will work with teams to build, refine, and implement processes that ensure continued compliance and effectiveness.\nJOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nServe as the primary interface with Contracting Officers and prime teaming partners, building relationships and effectively communicating to drive contract compliance.\nNegotiate and support internal understanding of contractual terms and conditions, ensuring favorable positions and outcomes for the company.\nWork across functional teams to ensure the contract is performed in accordance with contractual and legal requirements, customer specifications, and government regulations.\nCollaborate with Finance and Operations to proactively monitor contract funding and timely notify the Government and Prime Contractors of limitations of funds.\nEnsure company risk associated with funding shortfalls is properly mitigated through ATP and contract funding requests and tracking.\nDocument key contract data for company files, processes, and requests for information, including participating in workflows with other functions to develop contract briefs and other records as appropriate. \nServe as a resource and escalation point for Operations and other teams as issues related to contracts arise.\nOperate as an internal partner and subject matter expert to support the company in navigating complex contract challenges and opportunities.\nSUPERVISORY DUTIES\nThis is a non-supervisory position.\nQUALIFICATIONS\nEducation, Background, and Years of Experience\nBachelor’s degree, with focus in Business Administration, Contracts Management, Finance, or related field preferred.\nExperience: Minimum 5 years in contracts or legal profession.\nADDITIONAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS\nRequired Skills\nExperience in reviewing, editing, and compliant execution of contract agreements.\nExperience managing the full lifecycle of contracts, including pre-award, award, execution, and closeout. \nAbility to advise program team of contractual issues/opportunities and impacts of contract terms and conditions and flow down requirements.\nDemonstrated ability to multi-task, effectively prioritize, and meet deadlines.\nDemonstrated experience interpreting and identifying appropriate FAR/DFARs requirements.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills, and strong attention to detail.\nAbility to identify and implement new ideas to streamline and improve business processes across contracts and other functions.\nAbility to foster relationships both internally within the company and externally with Contracting Officers and prime contracts POCs.\nPreferred Skills\nAbility to effectively negotiate contract terms and conditions to maintain preferable outcomes and positive relationships.\nAbility to juggle competing priorities and utilize time management techniques to meet deadlines and complete tasks. \nStrong interpersonal skills, with ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate teamwork and flexibility. \nCertified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) or equivalent certification desired.\nWORKING CONDITIONS\nEnvironmental Conditions\nPosition is remote\nStrength Demands\nSedentary - 10 lbs.
