This role would suit someone who already has a solid grounding in day-to-day finance operations and is specifically looking for part-time hours, rather than someone at the beginning of their finance career.\nWorking 25 hours per week, ideally spread across five shorter working days, you will provide hands-on support across accounts payable, billing, credit control, reconciliations and month-end administration. The salary is circa £23,000 per annum, based on a full-time equivalent salary of approximately £35,000.\nYou will play an important role in keeping our finance processes accurate, organised and running smoothly, working closely with the wider Finance team and colleagues across the business.\nYour Responsibilities\n\nSuppliers and payments\nProcess supplier invoices accurately and respond to supplier queries.\nAdminister employee expenses and company card transactions.\nPrepare supplier payment runs for Finance Manager review and approval.\nMaintain accurate supplier records and supporting documentation.\nBilling and collections\nPrepare and issue sales invoices.\nSupport accounts receivable administration and credit control activity.\nMonitor outstanding invoices and assist with customer payment queries.\nSupport timesheet, work-in-progress (WIP) and billing administration.\nRecords and month end\nComplete regular bank reconciliations.\nSupport routine balance sheet reconciliations.\nMaintain accurate records within Xero and Kantata, including system housekeeping and data-integrity checks.\nPrepare month-end schedules and supporting information.\nAssist with general finance administration and ad-hoc tasks as required.\nAbout You\nWe are looking for someone experienced, dependable and comfortable taking ownership of recurring finance activities. You should be confident working independently while building strong relationships with colleagues, suppliers and customers.\nPrevious experience in a Finance Assistant, Accounts Assistant or similar finance role.\nPractical experience across accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.\nExperience in a professional services/consultancy environment.\nExperience completing bank and routine balance sheet reconciliations.\nExperience supporting month-end finance activities.\nStrong organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage recurring deadlines.\nConfidence communicating with suppliers, customers and internal stakeholders.\nGood Excel skills and confidence working with finance systems.\nIt would be ideal if you would have…\nExperience using
