and traceability\nOwn and manage all product documentation, including:Hardware manuals\nOperating manuals\nInstallation & quick-start guides\nDatasheets, specifications, and technical reports\nPrototype and product lifecycle documentation\n\nDefine and implement documentation strategy, standards, and best practices across products for scalable and structured documentation\nEnsure all documentation complies with applicable DIN, ISO, and international standards\nApply principles of IEC/IEEE 82079-1 for the preparation of instructions for use\nDevelop and review safety-related content, including:Safety instructions and hazard warnings\nRisk communication and mitigation measures\nProper structuring and categorization of safety notes (e.g., danger, warning, caution)\n\nSupport product certification processes by ensuring documentation meets regulatory and legal requirements\nCollaborate with relevant stakeholders to align documentation with CE marking and safety compliance standards\nAct as the central interface between engineering, product management, and end users\nEstablish validation and review processes with subject matter experts\nEnsure documentation supports excellent customer and developer experience\nStructure content to serve different audiences:End users (operators, technicians)\nDevelopers (APIs, SDKs, integrations)\nDeliver documentation that enables users to fully utilize product capabilities\n\nManage the full documentation lifecycle:Information gathering\nPlanning and structuring\nContent creation\nReview and validation\nPublication and maintenance\n\nMaintain versioning aligned with product releases (hardware & software)\nEnsure continuous updates across product lifecycle stages\nDefine and manage documentation tooling and platforms (e.g., docs portals, APIs, CMS, static site generators)\nSupport multi-format documentation delivery:Manuals, portals, developer docs, documentation websites\n\n Manage documentation translation and localization processes\nEssential Skills\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Technical Documentation, Quality Management, or related field\nMinimum 5 years of experience in document management and/or process management within a production environment for mechatronic systems\nProven experience configuring and administering JIRA and Confluence (workflows, templates, permissions, dashboards, automation rules)\nProven experience in technical documentation or technical communication, ideally in robotics, hardware-software systems, or industrial products\nStrong understanding of:Product documentation types across the lifecycle\nInformation architecture and structured content\nDocumentation workflows and processes\n\nExperience working in cross-functional engineering environments\nAbility to understand complex technical systems and translate them into clear documentation\nKnowledge of documentation tools (any modern stack is acceptable)\nStrong experience defining and enforcing structured documentation and issue management processes\nStrong understanding of change management, version control, release procedures, and traceability in hardware/software environments\nExperience working at the interface between R&D and production/manufacturing\nExperience managing SOP releases and ensuring production documentation readiness\nStrong analytical and structured thinking with high attention to detail\nStrong visual communication skills and ability to translate complex technical topics into clear documentation and presentations\nAdvanced PowerPoint skills with professional design sense for executive communication\nExperience in production environments for mechatronic or electromechanical systems\nFluency in
