We are seeking an experienced and curious, hands-on generalist with a multidisciplinary background who thrives across mechanical, electrical, and software engineering domains.\nResponsibilities\nTest Automation: Plan, design, and automate test setups and fixtures for robot prototypes, subassemblies, and components across the product lifecycle.\nTest Execution: Run tests, analyze the test data, and report findings to the engineering teams.\nRoot Cause Analysis: Investigate and diagnose product defects and quality issues to support corrective actions.\nTechnical Reviews: Work with development, quality, and production teams, and represent testing in technical reviews.\nDocumentation: Create, standardize, and maintain test specifications, procedures, and reports.\nTest Methods: Identify and implement improvements to existing test methods to increase efficiency, coverage, and repeatability.\nProduction Support: Support manufacturing and production teams in troubleshooting and resolving test-related issues.\nEssential Skills\nBackground: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechatronics, robotics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent qualification.\nSystem Verification: At least three years of industry experience testing, verifying, and validating complex mechatronic or robotic systems.\nPython Programming: Professional experience writing Python for test automation, using Git-based version control such as GitLab.\nSensor Integration: Experience implementing and maintaining sensor applications, such as force and torque, position, or temperature sensors.\nIndustrial Interfaces: Practical experience with Linux environments, including Bash scripting, and with industrial communication protocols and real-time bus systems such as OPC UA or EtherCAT.\nBeneficial Skills\nHardware Work: Experience with CAD for mechanical design, such as SolidWorks, or PCB layout tools, such as Altium, and practical workshop skills such as soldering, harness wiring, mechanical assembly, and prototyping.\nSafety Standards: Experience with certification and functional safety standards, such as ISO 10218, ISO 13849, or IEC 60204.\nFactory Automation: Background in industrial robotics or factory automation, including PLC programming and integration, for example with TwinCAT or Beckhoff.\nReal-Time Programming: Familiarity with C++ and MATLAB/Simulink for real-time applications.\nQuality Tools: Familiarity with requirements and quality management tools such as Jama or SAP.\nGerman Language: German language proficiency.\nDriving License: Valid Class B driving license or equivalent.\nWhat we offer\nA dynamic high-tech company, combined with financial soundness and world-class investors.\n\nJoin an interdisciplinary, international team with 60+ different nationalities in a collaborative work environment.\n\nLots of development opportunities as we continue to grow.\n\nChallenging tasks and impactful projects alongside experts that enable professional and personal growth.\n\nCorporate Benefits Program covering health, mobility, and learning for 100€ net per month.\n\nModern office facilities with a rooftop terrace overlooking Munich, free drinks & fruits, and regular company events contribute to a good working environment\n\nAbout us\nAgile Robots is a leading provider of AI-powered robotics solutions.
