In this role, you will support and maintain existing products to ensure they remain fully operational and improve and develop new solutions for robust hardware.\nSuccess in this role requires both technical excellence and the ability to adapt and make decisions under uncertainty.\nYour Responsibilities\nEnsure that the robotics systems are ready to be used at all times\nCreate detailed documentation, technical drawings, and assembly instructions for testing rigs or needed components\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, software, manufacturing) to ensure seamless system integration\nMaintain Bill of Materials (BOM), assembly instructions, and quality control documentation, support and creation of SOPs\nTroubleshoot and resolve mechanics and electronics issues during development and production phases\nStay updated with emerging technologies and best practices in robotics and mechanical/electronics design\nPerform assembly and disassembly of robots components, cables, and PCBs and other devices\nCarry out soldering, desoldering, wiring, and basic troubleshooting tasks (e.g. oscilloscope, signal analyzers)\nSupport procurement activities by identifying suitable products which meet requirements, sourcing suppliers, and obtaining quotations\nOpen to travel to China for business trips\nThe role involves significant travel (approximately 50%) to client sites\nWork autonomously on open-ended, evolving tasks\nEssential Skills\nHands-on experience with soldering SMD components\nProficiency in Altium / Solidworks is recommended\nProficiency in English, Spoken and written\nKnowledge of electronics design principles\nKnowledge of actuators and sensors using robotics, familiarity with sensor integration (force/torque sensors, encoders, IMUs) is recommended\nHands-on experience with rapid prototyping (3D printing, CNC machining, laser cutting) is recommended\nAble to find fast solutions to common problems\nBeneficial Skills\nMinimum 3-5 years of proven work experience in related fields\nExperience in robotics, mechatronics, or automation industries\nBackground in designing robust cabling solutions and cable harnesses\nFamiliarity with electronics design and PCB production stages\nKnowledge of structural, thermal, and dynamic analysis to validate designs\nYour Profile\nStrong problem-solving and analytical thinking\nEmpathy and excellent communication skills to enable great teamwork\nSelf-motivated with a passion for cutting-edge robotics technology\nDetail-oriented with a focus on robust system design\nAdaptable to fast-paced development cycles\nFirmware development experience\nWhat we offer\nA dynamic high-tech company, combined with financial soundness and world-class investors.\n\nJoin an interdisciplinary, international team with 60+ different nationalities in a collaborative work environment.\n\nLots of development opportunities as we continue to grow.\n\nChallenging tasks and impactful projects alongside experts that enable professional and personal growth.\n\nCorporate Benefits Program covering health, mobility, and learning for 100€ net per month.\n\nModern office facilities with a rooftop terrace overlooking Munich, free drinks & fruits, and regular company events contribute to a good working environment\n\nAbout us\nAgile Robots is a leading provider of AI-powered robotics solutions.
