Customers and partners reuse this stack through open-source releases, so it has to keep working with messy data, limited compute, and real hardware.\nResponsibilities\nRobot Integration: Integrate trained AI models with single-arm and dual-arm robots through ROS 2, and maintain the runtime that runs them on hardware.\nApplication Development: Build robot applications on top of the AI stack, including agentic workflows that chain AI models and robot skills into multi-step tasks.\nTool Interfaces: Build UI, API, and CLI tools such as dataset viewers, training dashboards, and benchmark viewers.\nEnd-to-End Testing: Build test suites that run real user workflows from data through training to inference, including stress tests with messy data and limited compute.\nRelease Readiness: Maintain nightly regression runs on the reference workflows and run reliability checks before demos and open-source releases.\nDocumentation: Write and maintain the documentation customers and partners use to adopt the tooling.\nEssential Skills\nEngineering Background: Degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field, or equivalent qualification plus professional experience building comparable software systems.\nPython Engineering: Professional experience building and maintaining Python software that other engineers depend on.\nROS 2 Integration: Hands-on experience integrating and debugging software on physical robots through ROS 2.\nContainers & CI: Hands-on experience with Docker and CI pipelines such as GitHub Actions for reproducible builds and releases.\nTesting: Hands-on experience designing integration and end-to-end test suites and debugging failures across the full stack.\nBackend Services: Experience building backend services and APIs, for example with FastAPI or gRPC.\nBeneficial Skills\nC++ Development: Experience writing C++ for robot-side or performance-critical code.\nAgentic Systems: Experience building applications that combine language or vision-language models with robot skill execution.\nFrontend Development: Working experience with React or Next.js for building data-heavy interfaces.\nML Workflows: Working understanding of how training and inference pipelines for robot learning models fit together.\nWhat we offer\nA dynamic high-tech company, combined with financial soundness and world-class investors.\n\nJoin an interdisciplinary, international team with 60+ different nationalities in a collaborative work environment.\n\nLots of development opportunities as we continue to grow.\n\nChallenging tasks and impactful projects alongside experts that enable professional and personal growth.\n\nCorporate Benefits Program covering health, mobility, and learning for 100€ net per month.\n\nModern office facilities with a rooftop terrace overlooking Munich, free drinks & fruits, and regular company events contribute to a good working environment\n\nAbout us\nAgile Robots SE is an international high-tech company based in Munich, Germany with a production site in Kaufbeuren and more than 3500 employees worldwide.
