The SCRUM Master is responsible for resolving issues with and controlling SCRUM processes.\nThe SCRUM Master will have to plan, track, report and communicate team velocity and sprint/release progress as well as ensure the development teams are practicing the core agile principles of collaboration.\nReporting to enable leaders of the organisation to make informed decisions and to act on the information.\nKey accountabilities:\nTraining, coaching and guidance to teams internal and external in the use of agile practices and to support product owners / project manager\nFacilitating all SCRUM related ceremonies \nFacilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution\nFacilitate planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews including demos, and retrospectives for each project\nTake responsibility of team impediments and their resolution\nEncourage the team to deliver on their commitments\nEscalate delivery issues and risks as they arise\nMeasure / track project performance using appropriate tools and metrics\nProject management and coordination of projects on time, within scope and budget through close collaboration with the Product Owner\nPreparation of monthly tracking reports of projects to Senior Management and other stakeholders\nDevelop training material\nTechnical / professional qualifications:\nCertified SCRUMMaster® Certification\nTertiary Qualification\nKey performance indicators:\nSprint goals delivery - Enables the team to accept accountability and helps understand how to use SCRUM principles to set and attain their goals\nMeasure and Report - Be able to measure and report success in achieving sprint goals. (burn up, burn down or other agreed-upon metrics). Setup tools that help the team with daily work and for managing team activities. Also measured by how well these items are communicated to interested stakeholders\nContinuous improvement - Responsibility to ensure it happens through the ceremonies and activities of daily work, review, retrospective, and backlog refinement\nDelivering value - value delivered to the customer\nTimesheets and time tracking accuracy and on time submission\nSkills, know-how and experience:\nExperience in a SCRUM master role\nFamiliarity with software development\nExcellent knowledge of SCRUM techniques and artifacts (such as definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement)\nGood knowledge of other Agile frameworks (SCRUM, Kanban, XP)\nExcellent communication and servant leadership skills\nProblem-solving and conflict-resolution ability\nOutstanding organizational skills\nPreferred:\n3+ years’ experience within an agile development environment as a SCRUM Master Experienced in the following technologies\n\nJira, Confluence\nAzure Boards (Part of Azure DevOps) \nSCRUM Reporting, SCRUM rituals Agile project management\n\nValues and Competencies\nGet stuff done:completing tasks, and contributing to the deliverables of the team to ensure we deliver high quality products\nBe the best you can be:investing time in learning and sharpening your skills.
