Our product connects people, skills, staffing, sales, projects, time, and financials in one real-time platform.\nAI is already deeply embedded in Agileday. Our product supports intelligent staffing, skills inference, forecasting, recommendations, content generation, and agent-driven workflows. Through our permission-aware MCP layer, AI systems can access live operational context and safely execute actions across the platform.\nThis gives you the opportunity to build agents across interconnected business data and workflows rather than around a single dataset or narrow use case. The agents you build will be part of the core Agileday product and used in real customer workflows.\nPrompting and working with coding agents are part of how we build software every day. You won’t create these systems through prompting alone, but you should be highly comfortable using AI to explore ideas, design solutions, write and review code, test, debug, and ship.\nThe role and the team around you\nYou’ll join Agileday’s product and engineering team, working across software engineering, agent architecture, and product development.\nYou’ll own agent capabilities from exploration to production: identifying valuable use cases, shaping the architecture, building the solution, evaluating its behaviour, and improving it through real-world usage.\nWe’re hiring developers with different areas of depth, from hands-on product engineering to agent architecture, evaluation, and production reliability. What matters is your ability to build, take ownership, and contribute to our technical direction.\nAgileday is a growing international SaaS company of around 25 people, with most of the team focused on the product. You’ll work with strong technical peers, stay close to customer insight, and have real influence over how both the product and our AI capabilities evolve.\nWhat you’ll work on\nDesign and build agents that understand intent, access operational context, use tools, and complete multi-step tasks\n\nDefine how agents, data, context, permissions, memory, and workflows work together across the platform\n\nBuild evaluation and observability capabilities for measuring reliability, grounding, tool use, latency, cost, and task completion\n\nDesign for uncertainty, failure recovery, human oversight, and the right balance between agent autonomy and user control\n\nTurn successful experiments into secure, scalable, and maintainable production capabilities\n\nYou’ll thrive in this role if you:\nHave a strong software engineering background and have built AI agents or agent-driven workflows that use tools, context, and multi-step execution\n\nUnderstand how to take agents from prototype to reliable, observable, and secure production software\n\nCan reason deeply about agent architecture, permissions, evaluation, failure modes, and the balance between autonomy and user control\n\nUse AI and coding agents as an active part of how you design, build, test, and ship software\n\nMove confidently between hands-on implementation, system design, and product decisions\n\nTake ownership, bring strong technical judgement, and help shape patterns and tools that are still being defined\n\nBring experience with MCP, multi-agent systems, AI observability, or evaluation\n\nYou don’t need to specialise in everything, but you should have clear evidence that you can build effectively with agents and turn emerging AI capabilities into reliable product experiences.\nOur stack\nReact\n\nTypeScript\n\nStyled-components\n\nGo\n\nPostgreSQL\n\nREST APIs\n\nGoogle Cloud Platform\n\nWe also use:\nFigma · GitHub · Slack · Jira · Cursor · Claude Code\nAbout Agileday\nWe launched Agileday in 2023 to help professional services companies bring their people, sales, staffing, skills, projects, time, and financials into one connected operating platform.\nIf that sounds complicated, you should see the spreadsheets and disconnected systems many companies relied on before finding us.\nProof of the value is our lifetime client NPS of 80 and ability to win against all major players in the marketplace.\nFollowing our Series A funding round in January 2026, we’re scaling internationally with a growing focus on North America and other global markets, serving almost 100 leading professional services companies in 11 different countries.\nCompensation and location\nOur compensation combines a competitive base salary with meaningful equity.
