This hands-on technical role drives the identification, tracking, and remediation of Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) vulnerability findings while supporting endpoint version control and software compliance efforts.\nThe successful candidate will bridge patching strategy and frontline execution to ensure vulnerabilities are communicated, addressed, documented, and closed efficiently across the enterprise environment. This is an IAT-track technical position, not an IAM role.\nKey Responsibilities\nHunt, triage, and drive remediation of ACAS vulnerability findings across managed endpoints.\n\nCoordinate with the Enterprise Patch Management team to align remediation timelines with established patch cycles.\n\nServe as the primary liaison between the Patch Management team and Customer Support Technicians for findings requiring local or hands-on action.\n\nSupport endpoint version control and software compliance using Tanium or equivalent endpoint-management tools.\n\nTroubleshoot and resolve one-off, nonstandard endpoint issues outside routine patching and vulnerability-remediation workflows.\n\nTrack vulnerability status, document remediation actions, and report aging or at-risk findings.\n\nCommunicate directly with customers and support technicians to clarify findings, gather system context, and confirm remediation.\n\nEscalate systemic patching, configuration, or compliance gaps to leadership with supporting data.\n\nSupport continuous improvement of endpoint vulnerability-management and patch-compliance processes.\n\nRequired Qualifications\nTwo to four years of experience in endpoint systems administration, vulnerability management, or a related information technology role.\n\nActive DoD Secret security clearance.\n\nDoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification, such as CompTIA Security+ CE.\n\nWorking knowledge of vulnerability-scanning and remediation workflows, including ACAS, Nessus, or similar tools.\n\nSolid understanding of patch management concepts, endpoint configuration, and compliance practices.\n\nStrong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to work directly with customers and technical support personnel.\n\nAbility to collaborate effectively across technical teams with differing priorities and responsibilities.\n\nAbility to work on-site at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with Tanium, including Comply, Deploy, Patch, or Connect modules.\n\nDemonstrated ability to independently troubleshoot complex, nonrepeatable endpoint issues rather than relying solely on documented remediation playbooks.\n\nFamiliarity with DoD or federal compliance frameworks, including Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and ACAS reporting standards.\n\nExperience supporting customers in a matrixed, enterprise, or customer-facing IT environment.","description_format":"text","description_chars":3214,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":2,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":true,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[{"name":"United States","iso":"US","kind":"country"}],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Digital Government","Managed Security","IT Consulting & Digital Transformation","Cloud Consulting & Migration"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-24T20:24:02Z"}],"liveness":{"score":70,"band":"hot","label":"Hiring now","p_open":1,"p_active":0.695,"p_room":1,"age_days":0,"expected_fill_days":26,"reasons":["conf:1","stale_co","urgency","velocity","win:early","comp:junior"],"computed_at":"2026-09-25T05:45:01Z"},"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/agiledefense-endpoint-systems-administrator","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/agiledefense-endpoint-systems-administrator.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-09-26T01:19:24Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","usage":{"tier":"crawler","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":1278,"day_limit":5000,"remaining_today":3722,"minute_limit":60,"resets_at":"2026-09-27T00:00:00Z"}}}
