Ensure that maintenance activities are documented according to procedures\nand cGMP’s.\nSupervising and assigning tasks for the facility maintenance staff.\nMaintaining the production and facility equipment according to the quality standard of the production area.\nDiagnosing mechanical problems and provides correct solutions for breakdowns by applying proven technical skills in a wide range of fields.\nModifying, repairing, installing, maintaining, improving, and troubleshooting various types of utility, process and building equipment. To train junior staff in proper procedure.\nImproving the function of reliability of all production and facility equipment, including but not limited to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems equipment and components.\nPerforming predictive maintenance analysis and recommending annual maintenance schedules and capital purchases to manager.\nBasic programming and setup of instrumentation as required.\nOverseeing and participating in the installation of equipment.\nPerforming routine preventive maintenance and calibrations of equipment and utility systems.\nMaintaining parts and spares inventories, ordering equipment and services.\nWorking shift work with off hour call-ins as required.\nProviding guidance and oversight to a team of employees. Responsible for basic Human Resources services for the team including payroll, review, and approval of vacation requests, providing employee feedback and evaluation where needed, and ensuring employees are in compliance with workplace rules.\nAdhering to BioVectra’s Health and Safety Policy as outlined in CP0010 Occupational Health and Safety Policy, Statements of Principle, and Responsibilities.\nAdditional duties assigned, based on business needs and the department supervisor’s request.\nQualifications\nMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:\nEducation:\nTrade certification required ( Minimum Power Engineer 3rd Class license.) Experience:\nThree years’ relevant industrial and mechanical experience.\nTwo years’ supervisory experience. Preferred Skills/Qualifications:\nExcellent oral and written communication skills.\nExcellent administrative and computer skills.\nAdditional Details\nThis job has a full time weekly schedule.The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $71,424.00 - $111,600.00/yr CAD plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
