This integration ensures alignment across the enterprise, leading to superior customer outcomes.\nAs one of the CMR/HDX Demand Planners, you will collaborate closely with an IBP data scientist to generate reliable forecasts and coordinate demand reviews. This particular role will be focused on the Cellular Mollecular Research and Health Care Diagnostics sales channels (CMR/HDX). Your role will be crucial in ensuring effective demand schedules, streamlining internal processes, and ultimately enhancing the customer experience.\nResponsible for analyzing overall product demand, forecasting future demand and product needs, and providing input into component demand schedules.\nAssists in the improvement of demand forecasting accuracy for internal and external customers, working with demand data scientist(s) to determine the appropriate algorithm for statistical forecasts.\nThe work of the demand planner will enable Agilent to maximize account sales and inventory turns by accurately forecasting demand, managing product history and promotional demand, and identifying historical sales trends and demand patterns.\nWorks with the demand data scientist(s) to maintain integrity of data for demand model inputs and analyzes internal demand stream information.\nCollaborates on Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE) processes to enhance demand sensing and adjustment of long-term view of the Integrated Business Planning (IBP).\nDevelops reports and leads demand review forums, reporting on attainment of business objectives, adherence to demand forecast schedules and driving consensus on unconstrained demand.\nPrinciple Duties/Responsibilities:\nDevelop Demand Forecasts: Utilize IBP data scientist modeling, market intelligence, and field sales input to create accurate demand forecasts.\nCoordinate Demand Reviews: Collaborate with sales and marketing stakeholders to conduct thorough demand reviews.\nExecute Demand Planning: Provide reliable forecasts to ensure effective demand planning.\nAnalyze Historical Sales Trends: Review past sales trends, research demand drivers, and evaluate forecast results to inform future planning.\nPerform Root Cause Analysis: Investigate key metrics such as forecast accuracy, bias, and value add to identify underlying issues.\nDerive Consolidated Forecasts: Generate a comprehensive forecast of unconstrained demand.\nEvaluate IBP Deviations: Discuss and understand the impact of last month's IBP deviations on the current month's plan.\nFacilitate Best Practices: Proactively facilitate and re-engineer best practices, fostering consensus among functional experts.\nDrive Improvement Actions: Implement actions for improvement and develop a stakeholder communication plan.\nMonitor Forecast Consumption: Track forecast consumption and plan attainment to ensure alignment with goals.\nQualifications\nBachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent.\n\n8+ years relevant experience for entry to this level.\n\nExtensive knowledge and specialized expertise in sales, marketing, or finance; experience in forecasting or planning is a plus.\n\nStrong executive presence and leadership skills.\n\nDemonstrated ability to assess complex business problems and deliver impactful results.\n\nExcellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with different levels of management.\n\nSelf-motivated and capable of operating independently.\n\nAdditional Details\nThis job has a full time weekly schedule.
