This is a highly hands-on, field-based position requiring active engagement at customer laboratory sites across New England and mid-Atlantic States along with all of North America. You will work closely with internal teams, external partners, and customers to ensure solutions are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.\nSuccess in this role comes from being deeply engaged in on-site execution, coordinating real-time project activities, and adapting quickly within fast-paced, operational environments where priorities shift based on project and customer needs.\nKey Responsibilities\nYou will contribute across the full project lifecycle, from early solution development through execution and closeout, supporting the delivery of complex, multi-vendor laboratory projects.\nKey responsibilities include:\nLeading on-site project execution, including vendor coordination and equipment-related activities\nMonitoring progress, resolving issues in real time, and maintaining momentum across multiple project workstreams\nSupporting solution design, scope development, and proposal activities\nDeveloping and maintaining project plans (scope, schedule, budget, resources)\nCoordinating with customers and stakeholders to align expectations and execution\nDelivering CrossLab solutions-including laboratory relocations, consulting, and 3D lab design-while leading meetings, driving progress, maintaining documentation, and building strong relationships across customers, internal teams, and third-party vendors\nWhat We’re Looking For\nWe are seeking a candidate based in Boston (MA) with a strong foundation in project management processes, tools, and best practices, complemented by hands-on experience delivering operational or facility-based projects in the field.\nThe ideal candidate thrives in environments where success depends on coordinating physical activities, vendor execution, and on-site decision-making. You are detail-oriented, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple priorities (multi-tasking) in dynamic, fast-paced environments.\nStrong communication skills are essential, including the ability to lead meetings, provide clear updates, and maintain alignment across stakeholders.\nThis role is best suited for individuals who enjoy being present where the work is happening, driving progress through direct engagement with project activities at the customer site.\nQualifications\n Required Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in a scientific or related field, or equivalent experience\n5+ years of relevant professional experience, including 2+ years in customer-facing field project management\nExperience applying project management methodologies\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nExperience working directly with external customers\nExperience with data tools/reporting systems\nExperience managing equipment manufacturers and third-party service providers\nExperience in busy laboratory environments, instrument service, or equipment maintenance\nAbility and willingness to travel extensively (often 50%+) and spend sustained time on-site during critical project phases\nPreferred Qualifications\nPMP certification\nFamiliarity with GMP and/or GLP environments and requirements\nPharmaceutical or life sciences industry experience\nExperience managing budgets (quotes, POs, invoicing)\nLean Six Sigma training or certification\nProficiency in MS Office and other software tools such as Smartsheet, SAP, or Maximo (CMMS)\nAdditional Details\nThis job has a full time weekly schedule. In the US, this position is eligible for reimbursement for personal vehicle usage.The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $93,760.00 - $156,755.00/yr plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
