An interest in continuously learning about new instruments, software, and consumables is essential. You will use effective communication skills, creativity, and a can-do attitude to solve customer problems and deliver exceptional service that supports customer success.\nYou will support customers through the on-site installation, preventive maintenance, and repair of Agilent and multi-vendor systems. Our diverse product portfolio includes hardware, software, networking products, and operating systems.\nDuties:\nInstall and optimize hardware, software, networking products, and system configurations at customer sites in Pennsylvania, Delaware, and southern New Jersey\nDiagnose and resolve product performance issues\nPerform preventive maintenance and repairs\nPromote customer satisfaction by advising customers on preventive maintenance and system configurations that may affect product performance\nRespond proactively to potential equipment issues to help prevent unplanned disruptions to customers’ operations\nDeliver fully integrated solutions that may include peripherals, communications, operating systems, and application software\nTrain customers and other field engineers in hardware and integrated solutions\nManage individual repair and PM parts\nExpense management\nHelp drive business growth through our lead program\nPerform compliance services\nFull completion of all applicable service reports, checklists, and documentation\nTimely closure of service orders\nQualifications\nRequired:\nBachelor’s degree in chemistry, analytical chemistry, biochemistry, biotechnology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience\nFour+ years of service or laboratory experience working with gas chromatography (GC) or gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) instrumentation\nExperience troubleshooting and resolving issues with analytical instrumentation\nStrong interpersonal and customer service skills.\nWillingness to travel daily throughout the service district to support Agilent customers\nAbility to communicate clearly, concisely, respectfully, and promptly\nAbility to travel overnight occasionally for training and customer support\nAdditional Details\nThis job has a full time weekly schedule. In the US, this position is eligible for choice of company car or reimbursement for personal vehicle usage.The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $34.00 - $53.13/hr plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
