Join our dynamic organization to be a part of this rewarding work.\nAs a Field Service Representative for Agilent, you will work at a variety of labs, so having an appetite for continuously learning about new instruments, software and consumables is key. The ability to help with solving customer problems and a commitment to deliver the highest-levels of customer service is how you will build customer success.\nRole Responsibilities:\nSupporting our customers with on-site installation, implementation, maintenance and repair of company and multi-vendor systems solutions. Our varied product lines include hardware, software and networking products as well as operating systems\nSupporting customers through on-site activities on Pathology and Genomics instruments and systems such as installation, implementation, maintenance and repair which may include hardware, software and networking products as well as operating systems\nInstalling and optimizing hardware/software/network products and configurations at customer sites\nDiagnoses and resolves product performance problems\nPerforms maintenance and repair services\nEnsures customer satisfaction by advising customers on preventive maintenance and configurations, which may impact product performance\nProactively responds to potential equipment or software issues to prevent unplanned interruption of customers' business\nDelivers (does not design) fully integrated solutions, which may include peripherals, communications, operating systems and applications software\nServes as an internal resource on technical issues and manages product escalations Collaborates with Agilent teams such as Support, Sales, Marketing and R&D to provide solutions to customers\nMay have knowledge of third-party products\nMay deliver internal technical training and maintenance seminars and workshops for field engineers or customers\nMay train other field engineers or customers\nMay calibrate equipment on-site for large volume customers\nMay qualify leads\nMust consent to participate and meet Agilent approved customer/vendor credentialing requirements necessary to gain access to customer sites\nRequirements may include, but are not limited to, proof of identification, proof of certification to perform the work required, customer health and safety requirements, etc.\nQualifications\nSuccessful candidate MUST live in the Ontario area\nA post-secondary degree within the science field - e.g. chemistry, analytical chemistry biochemistry, biotechnology or equivalent college degree with Work experience\n2 years of experience in laboratory environment\nExperience with troubleshooting and problem solving is essential\nVerbal and written communication is clear, respectful and timely\nYou enjoy travelling and visiting customers\n100% Travel expectation \nAdditional Details\nThis job has a full time weekly schedule. It includes the option to work remotely.The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $83,680.00 - $130,750.00/yr CAD plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
