This role requires expertise in schematic interpretation, circuit-level debugging, root cause analysis, failure investigation, and cross-functional collaboration with R&D, MSAT, Quality, and Operations teams.\nKey Responsibilities\nElectrical Troubleshooting & Failure Analysis\nTroubleshoot and resolve complex electronic issues across PCAs, modules, subsystems, and complete instruments using schematic analysis, circuit-level debugging, and structured problem-solving techniques.\n\nPerform root cause investigations on manufacturing, qualification, reliability, and field failures, and drive effective corrective and preventive actions.\n\nConduct hands-on troubleshooting of analog, digital, mixed-signal, RF, and high-voltage circuits using appropriate test and measurement equipment.\n\nLead technical investigations of recurring product quality or reliability issues and identify opportunities for long-term improvement.\n\nProvide technical support to Manufacturing, Quality, NPI, and R&D teams on product performance and defect-related challenges.\n\nProduct Quality & Continuous Improvement\nAnalyze quality, reliability, and manufacturing performance data to identify trends and drive improvement initiatives.\n\nLead yield improvement activities through systematic defect reduction, failure elimination, and process optimization.\n\nPartner with cross-functional teams to improve product robustness, reliability, and customer satisfaction.\n\nSupport operational excellence initiatives focused on quality improvement, efficiency enhancement, and cost reduction.\n\nProduct Sustaining & Change Management\nEvaluate and qualify changes related to components, materials, suppliers, manufacturing processes, and product designs.\n\nDevelop qualification plans, execute validation activities, and assess technical risks associated with proposed changes.\n\nPrepare engineering documentation including test reports, qualification summaries, risk assessments, and deviation analyses.\n\nSupport management of End-of-Life (EOL) components and Product Change Notifications (PCNs), including alternative component evaluation and qualification.\n\nProvide sustaining engineering support throughout the product lifecycle.\n\nNew Product Introduction (NPI)\nSupport the transition of new products from development into volume manufacturing.\n\nEvaluate products for manufacturability, testability, reliability, and production readiness.\n\nPerform technical assessments of prototype and pre-production builds to identify and resolve issues early in the development cycle.\n\nWork closely with R&D and manufacturing teams to improve design robustness and achieve stable production yields.\n\nTest Development & Technical Capability Enhancement\nDevelop, optimize, and standardize test stations used for production, qualification, and sustaining engineering activities.\n\nDevelop, maintain, and enhance PCA and module-level test software/applications, ensuring adequate test coverage, reliability, maintainability, and alignment with product and manufacturing requirements.\n\nImprove troubleshooting methodologies and diagnostic processes to increase fault isolation efficiency and repeatability.\n\nSupport deployment, validation, and continuous improvement of engineering and production test processes.\n\nLeverage data analysis tools and techniques to improve diagnostic effectiveness and engineering decision-making.\n\nQuality Systems & Compliance\nEnsure compliance with company quality systems, engineering procedures, and documentation requirements.\n\nMaintain accurate technical records and support internal and external audits as required.\n\nAdhere to applicable regulatory, safety, and quality standards.\n\nAdditional Responsibilities\nParticipate in cross-functional projects and continuous improvement initiatives.\n\nPerform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.\n\nQualifications\nEducation & Experience\nBachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering.\n\nMinimum 5 years of relevant experience in electronics engineering, product support, sustaining engineering, manufacturing engineering, or test engineering.\n\nExperience supporting complex electronic products in manufacturing or NPI environments is highly desirable.\n\nTechnical Competencies\nRequired\nStrong hands-on experience in electronic troubleshooting, failure analysis, and root cause investigation.\n\nStrong Electrical Engineering knowledge with demonstrated ability to troubleshoot Printed Circuit Assemblies (PCAs), perform component-level debugging, and read and interpret electronic schematics.\n\nExperience applying structured failure analysis and root cause investigation techniques to resolve product, manufacturing, and reliability issues.\n\nExperience developing, maintaining, and supporting manufacturing test stations and PCA/module-level test software.\n\nExperience troubleshooting analog, digital, mixed-signal, RF, and high-voltage circuits.\n\nProficiency in the use of electronic test and measurement equipment, including:\nOscilloscopes\n\nSpectrum Analyzers\n\nNetwork Analyzers\n\nSignal Generators\n\nLCR Meters\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured and data-driven approach.\n\nStrong Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis, trend monitoring, and statistical evaluation.\n\nPreferred\nKnowledge of:\nRF circuits and impedance matching\n\nDigital Signal Processing (DSP)\n\nControl systems (PID)\n\nADC and DAC interfaces\n\nHigh-voltage electronics\n\nAnalog and discrete circuit design\n\nExperience with Agilent Vee, OpenTAP, Python, C/C++, MATLAB, LabVIEW, or similar programming/scripting tools.\n\nExperience troubleshooting FPGA-based electronic systems, including digital interfaces, clocking, communication protocols, and component-level fault isolation.\n\nFamiliarity with manufacturing, quality, and product lifecycle management processes.\n\nUnderstanding of system-level architecture and integration principles for complex electronic
