Information about Agilent is available at www.agilent.com\nTo strengthen our Global Operations MSAT team, we are looking for aMSAT System Engineer M/F/D for Capillary Electrophoresis & Tapestation Products responsible for optimized design and manufacturing of mechanical and mechatronics assemblies, modules, and complete products.\nIn this role, you will act as the technical liaison between R&D, Quality and Manufacturing, translating product innovation into scalable, high-performance manufacturing solutions for Agilent’s analytical instrumentation platforms. You will contribute to process industrialization, technology transfer, and platform standardization, while working in a global, cross-functional environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nNPI Leadership & Industrialization\nAct as central Global Operations technical interface in NPI, representing the manufacturing operations and coordinating stakeholders.\nPrimary counterpart to R&D Technical Lead and business team.\nLead the transfer of new products from development into mass production.\nEnsure application of Design-for-Excellence (DfX) across cost, manufacturability, quality, and automation.\nCollaborate with R&D on product development, validation, and manufacturability readiness.\nInfluence design to ensure scalability, supply chain and process robustness, and manufacturability.\nDefine system-level manufacturing concepts, test strategies, and industrialization approach.\nLead prototype ramp, reliability validation, and evaluate launch readiness.\nTechnology Platform Engineering\nOwn complete instruments, assemblies, and modules within the MSAT platform team.\nServe as Technical Owner on critical & key platform technology processes across the full lifecycle, from development to obsolescence.\nEnsures Value Creation across cost, quality, reliability, delivery, supply robustness, and global product engineering strategy.\nLead root cause investigations and systemic corrective actions for complex & cross-functional tech\nEstablish risk-based qualification strategies and action plans for new step-function improvements.\nContribute to platform-level process standards and best practices.\nSupport development of scalable architectures for assembly, calibration, and testing.\nTravel Requirements: Willingness to travel up to approximately 10% of the time.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.\nRelevant +4y experience in a comparable engineering role.\nFluent German and strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.\nProven strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.\nSolid understanding of complex technical systems and related development and manufacturing processes.\nExperience with technical drawings and CAD tools.\nKnowledge of engineering methods such as FMEA, DoE, DfX, Value Engineering (VE) or similar approaches is a plus.\nAbility to analyze complex technical challenges and develop practical, innovative solutions.\nStrong ownership mindset and readiness to take responsibility for technical decisions and project outcomes.\nWe offer:\nMotivated Teams: Collaborate with highly motivated teams and take on exciting responsibilities.\nChallenging Projects: Engage in dynamic, collaborative projects\nDevelopment Opportunities: Benefit from diverse opportunities for professional growth.\nCorporate Culture: Be part of an exceptional corporate culture.\nWork-Life Balance: Enjoy a good work-life balance.\nCompetitive Compensation and Benefits: Receive a competitive compensation and benefits package.\nWhy Join Us?\nThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a team with a proven track record of success.
