By collaborating with various teams, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the reliability and operational efficiency of our equipment, minimizing disruptions, and contributing to the timely delivery of critical medical devices to the market.\nKey Responsibilities:\nCollaborate closely with production, engineering, and quality assurance teams to build and maintain a robust monthly preventative maintenance schedule for all manufacturing equipment.\nCoordinate with external vendors to establish and maintain annual service contracts, negotiate terms, and ensure timely execution of maintenance activities.\nSchedule necessary planned and unplanned equipment repairs, solicit quotes from vendors, and lead the issuance of purchase orders (POs) to authorize repair work.\nGenerate nonconformance reports (NCRs) when equipment falls out of specification, working closely with the Quality Assurance team to address issues and implement corrective actions.\nMaintain the equipment management database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment specifications.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to manage the entire lifecycle of manufacturing equipment, from activation to obsolescence.\nEnsure that all preventative maintenance activities are carried out in full compliance with GMP regulations and company policies.\nRegularly audit and assess the effectiveness of preventative maintenance processes, recommending improvements where necessary.\nProvide support during regulatory inspections and audits by maintaining comprehensive and well-organized records.\nCommunicate effectively with all stakeholders, ensuring alignment on maintenance schedules, repairs, and equipment status.\nA day in this job may entail:\nManagement of scheduling databases\nWorking with cross-functional teams to coordinate equipment services.\nWorking closely with vendors to schedule site visits.\nReview and filing of equipment documentation.\nQualifications\nMay require some higher education or specialized training/certification, or equivalent combination of education and experience\n1+ years' experience in equipment maintenance management or equivalent\nEffective communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with various departments and stakeholders\nDemonstrated excellence in time management, organization, and the ability to effectively and efficiently handle multiple tasks and projects\nProficiency in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and Microsoft Office Suite\nPreferred Experience:\nCreating Purchase Requisitions\nCustomer Service Experience\nProficient with SAP\nFamiliarity with regulatory requirements and quality standards relevant to medical device manufacturing (e.g., ISO 13485, FDA guidelines)\nExperience managing vendors/suppliers/subcontractors\nAdditional Details\nThis job has a full time weekly schedule.
