Information about Agilent is available at www.agilent.com\nAgilent is seeking an experienced Product Owner to join our Product Marketing team and own the definition and development of innovative scientific instrumentation and software solutions for Raman spectroscopy.\nThe Product Owner will represent the voice of the customer within development teams, ensuring that customer needs, market requirements, and business objectives are translated into clear product requirements and development priorities.\nWorking closely with Product Managers, R&D, Software Engineering, Applications Scientists, and customers, the Product Owner will drive product definition activities from concept through launch readiness. The role requires a unique combination of scientific expertise, customer understanding, technical aptitude, and strong cross-functional leadership.\nThe successful candidate will be passionate about understanding customer workflows, solving complex problems, and bringing new products to market that create meaningful customer value.\nKey Responsibilities\nProduct Ownership\nOwn product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and development backlogs.\nTranslate customer needs and product strategy into prioritized development activities.\nGuide product definition decisions throughout the development lifecycle.\nCustomer Insight and Validation\nDevelop deep understanding of customer workflows, challenges, and unmet needs.\nGather and synthesize Voice of Customer, market, and competitive insights.\nValidate requirements and solutions through customer engagement and feedback.\nCross-Functional Leadership\nServe as the primary interface between Product Management and development teams.\nPartner with R&D, Applications, Quality, Product Support and Commercial teams.\nAlign stakeholders on priorities, risks, requirements, and trade-offs.\nDevelopment and Strategy\nParticipate in Agile planning and provide customer context for technical decisions.\nContribute to business cases, roadmap planning, and future product concepts.\nSupport commercialization readiness and successful product launches.\nQualifications\nRequired\nBachelor or equivalent advanced degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Life Sciences, or related scientific discipline.\nStrong understanding of laboratory workflows and regulatory requirements in the pharmaceutical industry\nExperience working with analytical instrumentation, scientific software, or related technologies.\nDemonstrated ability to solve complex technical and business problems.\nExcellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.\nExperience working within multidisciplinary product development teams.\nStrong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.\nPreferred\nExperience in a Product Owner, Product Manager, Applications Scientist, or technical leadership role.\nExperience using tools such as Jira or similar backlog management systems.\nFamiliarity with software development practices and software lifecycle processes.\nExperience with scientific data analysis, programming, or software tools.\nUnderstanding of systems integration, automation technologies, or connected laboratory environments.\nExperience building business cases and presenting product concepts to senior stakeholders.\nWe offer:\nMotivated Teams: Collaborate with highly motivated teams and take on exciting responsibilities.\nChallenging Projects: Engage in dynamic, collaborative projects\nDevelopment Opportunities: Benefit from diverse opportunities for professional growth.\nCorporate Culture: Be part of an exceptional corporate culture.\nWork-Life Balance: Enjoy a good work-life balance.\nCompetitive Compensation and Benefits: Receive a competitive compensation and benefits package.\nWhy Join Us?\nThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic sales team with a proven track record of success.
