This technical background is essential for partnering effectively with R&D, Marketing, Operations, and business leaders to deliver new product innovations.\nThis position offers the opportunity to work at the interface of multiple functions to manage and lead projects in both Chemistries and Supplies divisions of CSD. Focus will be on managing and leading critical new product development projects to enable growth for CSD but also provides opportunity as part of the Project Management Center of Excellence (PMCOE) to work on other projects to support the business. This position reports directly to the Director of CSD Business Operations. This is a high visibility role within CSD with opportunity to engage with all functions that support CSD.\nSpecific Responsibilities include:\nManage multiple projects as assigned by Project Management Center of Excellence Director. \nAccountable for overall project objectives and execution of projects he or she directly manages.\nResponsible for overall project planning, objectives and execution of the project team.\nFacilitates cross-functional discussions and alignment to common Projects goals.\nManages communications within team and stakeholder management across all functions.\nWorks with Division leadership, functional managers to address Project team issues.\nUpdates project status reports in project dashboards and Product Group roadmaps.\nInterface with Product Group points-of-contact in Marketing, OFS and R&D on Roadmap planning.\nAs member of PMCoE, support implementation of Portfolio Management and share best practices within team to support Project Manager development.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s or Master’s Degree or equivalent in Chemistry or Life Sciences.\nTechnical background in Spectroscopy, Chromatography, Chemical/Biological Standards or Life Science.\n8+ years of experience in chemical or life science industry. \n5+ or more years of project management experience.\nStrong interpersonal skills in collaboration, negotiation and networking.\nDemonstrated skill in meeting facilitation, project planning and stakeholder management.\nDemonstrated delivery customer solutions by transforming broad concepts into structured programs.\nPreferred, but not required:\nAgilent Consumables business experience.\nPMP, Agile or Six Sigma certification.\nAdditional Details\nThis job has a full time weekly schedule. It includes the option to work remotely. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
