This role partners closely with Product Management, Software Engineering, Architecture, DevOps, and Customer Support teams to define test strategies, implement automated quality solutions, and drive quality throughout the software development lifecycle.\nThe successful candidate will combine strong testing expertise, technical depth, business understanding, and Agile delivery experience to identify quality risks, improve engineering practices, and ensure reliable software releases. The role is expected to leverage modern test automation, AI-assisted testing techniques, and continuous quality engineering principles to improve product quality and delivery efficiency.\nKey Responsibilities:\nOwn quality planning, test strategy, and validation activities for one or more software products.\nParticipate as an active member of Agile product teams, collaborating with Product Owners, developers, architects, and DevOps engineers.\nDefine and execute risk-based testing strategies focused on business-critical functionality and quality risks.\nDevelop and execute functional, integration, regression, exploratory, API, and automated testing.\nDesign, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions that support CI/CD pipelines.\nPerform backend and data validation testing, including database verification and system integration validation.\nReview requirements and designs to ensure testability, quality, and customer value.\nIdentify quality risks early and drive preventative quality engineering practices.\nPerform root cause analysis and partner with engineering teams to improve product quality and reliability.\nContribute to test environment management, test data strategy, release readiness assessments, and defect governance.\nDrive continuous improvement of testing approaches, frameworks, and engineering processes.\nMentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership across quality initiatives.\nSupport compliance, cybersecurity, and regulatory validation activities where applicable.\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical discipline.\n4+ years of software testing, quality engineering, or software development experience. 5 years of experience is helpful.\nExperience working within Agile software development environments.\nDemonstrated experience developing and executing comprehensive test strategies and test plans.\nStrong understanding of software testing methodologies including functional, integration, system, regression, and exploratory testing.\nExperience with test automation frameworks and automated testing practices.\nExperience validating web applications, APIs, microservices, and enterprise software systems.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and root cause investigation skills.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nAbility to work independently while influencing cross-functional teams and technical decisions.\nHands-on experience developing and maintaining automated testing solutions.\nHands-on experience implementing and troubleshooting automated tests within CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar platforms.\nPreferred:\nExperience with Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Postman, REST API testing, or similar automation technologies.\nExperience testing cloud-native or SaaS applications.\nExperience with AI-assisted testing tools, test generation, or intelligent quality engineering approaches.\nExperience in laboratory informatics, compliance software, scientific software, or regulated environments.\nExperience with performance, security, and reliability testing.\nExperience mentoring other engineers or leading quality initiatives across multiple teams.\nAdditional Details\nThis job has a full time weekly schedule. It includes the option to work remotely. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
