Work arrangements may evolve based on future business needs\nWhat you’ll do:\nWork with a team of engineers to deliver feature set that are crucial to Revenue growth.\nBe a part of a world class global organization.\nPush the bar to solve complex technical challenges of scale and performance.\nArchitect, develop, and maintain robust, high-performance backend services, APIs, and cloud-native Node.js applications on AWS, Azure or similar hyperscale cloud platforms.\nDesign and build Node.js applications that can run close to users on edge compute platforms such as Akamai Edge Workers, AWS Lambda Edge, CloudFront Functions, or comparable CDN/hyperscaler edge runtimes.\nDesign and setup NoSQL databases and Search index required for end-end API flows.\nProvide mentorship to engineering peers and uphold high standards in code quality and development practices.\nChampion modern, maintainable infrastructure aligned with industry best practices and emerging technologies\nQualifications\nRequired:\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.\n6+ years of experience in API development.\nExpert Programming skills in Python, JavaScript, NodeJS,\nHands-on experience building, deploying, and operating Node.js applications on AWS, GCP, Azure, or similar hyperscale cloud platforms, with a strong understanding of SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS models.\nExperience designing for edge execution models, including CDN-based compute, serverless functions at the edge, request/response transformation, caching strategies, latency optimization, and runtime constraints.\nExperience in relational or NoSQL DB such as DynamoDB, Search technologies such as OpenSearch, Graph DB.\nMust be able to pick up new backend technologies as the need arises.\nMust be familiar with API standards and frameworks.\nKnowledge to evaluate trade-offs based on cost, risk, effort analysis.\nPractice in mentoring other engineers and influencing decision makers throughout the organization\nConsideration of customer impact when making technical decisions\nWays To Stand Out:\nAbility to fully utilize agentic development techniques, including AI-assisted coding, automated test generation, code review support, documentation acceleration, and workflow automation, to improve engineering efficiency, delivery speed, and overall development quality.\nExperience in Code AI tools to gain productivity in coding. Eg.
