Our applications support laboratories worldwide, helping scientists generate reliable results that influence research, diagnostics, and regulatory decisions.\nAs a Test Automation Engineer, you will play a key role in building and evolving our test automation capabilities. You will work as part of an agile, international development team and influence both product quality and engineering excellence from the earliest stages of development.\nWe are looking for an engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, improving development efficiency, and leveraging modern automation technologies, including AI-assisted testing solutions.\nYour Responsibilities:\nDesign, implement, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks for desktop, web, and enterprise software solutions\nDevelop reliable, maintainable, and efficient automated tests integrated into modern CI/CD pipelines\nPartner closely with Software Engineers, Product Owners, Quality Engineers, and DevOps teams to establish effective quality strategies\nDrive a shift-left quality approach by embedding automation early in the software development lifecycle\nIdentify, analyze, and troubleshoot defects, automation failures, and test infrastructure issues\nEvaluate and apply AI-powered testing technologies to improve test generation, maintenance, execution, and defect analysis\nContinuously improve test coverage, automation maturity, release confidence, and engineering productivity\nContribute to technical discussions, risk assessments, and quality decisions across the development lifecycle\nCollaborate effectively with external partners and suppliers to ensure high-quality deliverables and successful project outcomes\nQualifications\nQualifications:\nDegree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Life Sciences or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience\nSeveral years of experience in software test automation, software quality engineering, or software development\n Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, quality engineering principles, and test automation frameworks\n Experience testing modern cloud-based and distributed applications.\nHands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes in development, testing, or deployment environments\nExperience working in Agile development teams\nPractical experience using AI-assisted development or testing tools to improve software quality and engineering efficiency\nStrong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a continuous improvement mindset\nExcellent English communication skills; German language proficiency is an advantage\nKnowledge of laboratory workflows, scientific software, analytical instrumentation, or instrument control software is a bonus\nWhy Join Us?\nFull-time position with competitive salary and bonus eligibility, plus participation in the Employee Stock Purchase Plan\nBe part of a global leader in analytical instrumentation\nJoin a collaborative and forward-thinking work culture\nEnjoy exciting opportunities for career growth and development\nAdditional Details\nThis job has a full time weekly schedule.Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
