With industry-leading safety standards and years of proven deployment data, we're pioneering a new era of automation that enhances human potential.\nRole Overview\nAgility Robotics is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager, Systems Integration to join our SEIT Technical Program team. This role owns planning and execution for systems integration while supporting the stand up of a new Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) test capability, partnering closely with Mechanical, Electrical, Firmware, and Software engineering to keep the robot's path from subsystem to full system on track.\nYou're equally comfortable running a planning session with program leadership and sitting in a design review working through an interface spec with an electrical engineer. People need to be able to hand you a half-formed integration risk and trust you'll turn it into a plan, and they need to be able to send you into a room to represent their work without anything getting lost in translation. This is a hybrid role, requiring you to be at our San Francisco Bay Area (Fremont) facility at least 3-days a week and occasional travel to the RobotFab facility in Salem, Oregon.\nKey Responsibilities\nPlan with the people who'll live the plan: partner with the Senior Manager of Systems Integration and with Mechanical, Electrical, Firmware, and Software leads to turn program goals into sequenced integration plans, with clear owners, dependencies, and dates, \nOwn the integration pipeline: keep the integration Jira project and dashboards current: asset status, build milestones, bugs, and the weekly rhythm that keeps the program honest about where things stand.\nRun the cadence: lead planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, and keep sprint goals tied to the broader program milestones, \nGet ahead of dependencies: surface dependencies on partner teams early enough that they're a planning conversation,\nBuild the HIL capability: own the roadmap and timeline for our HIL test capability, partnering closely with our HIL architect and the cross-functional team to drive automated test development and test coverage across subsystems and full systems.\nMake test data decision-ready: build program-level visibility into test coverage, automation status, and failure trends, and use that data to drive real calls about what ships.\nClear the path: coordinate the benches, rigs, and simulation environments HIL testing needs, and unblock whatever's standing between the team and the next test run.\nKnow the system, not just the schedule: build a real working understanding of the robot's architecture and interfaces, enough to catch an integration gap before it becomes a schedule risk.\nBe the trusted translator: facilitate technical discussions across hardware, firmware, and software teams to resolve interface questions and surface risks early, and represent that engineering work clearly and accurately in cross-functional and leadership reviews.\nTrack it to the end: drive cross-functional tracking of issues, risks, and dependencies through to resolution, and escalate the ones that matter with a clear recommendation,\nMake program health legible: maintain dashboards, status reports, and documentation that let anyone, from an individual engineer to program leadership, understand where integration actually stands.\nTechnical Skills & Requirements\nCore Requirements\n8+ years of experience in technical program management, systems integration, or hardware/robotics engineering, including 3+ years leading cross-functional technical programs.\nExperience building and managing integration plans: schedules, milestones, dependencies, and risk mitigation, for complex electromechanical systems.\nStrong technical understanding of systems engineering, system bring-up, integration testing, and the interfaces between hardware, firmware, and software.\nA track record of running technical discussions with engineers directly and representing their work accurately to cross-functional partners and leadership.\nProficiency with Jira and Confluence, and comfort building dashboards or reports that make program health legible at a glance.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with humanoid robotics, autonomous systems, aerospace, automotive manufacturing, or other complex electromechanical platforms.\nFamiliarity with hardware, firmware, and software release processes and configuration management.\nDirect experience designing, standing up, or scaling Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) test systems, automated test frameworks, or simulation-based validation environments.\nBackground in reliability tracking, issue management, and root cause analysis.\nPMP/PgMP certification, or equivalent practical rigor.\nEducation\nBachelor's degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred).\nThis is a hybrid position based out of our Fremont, CA office. In office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with flexibility to work remotely Monday and Friday.\nThe final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Agility Robotics is a multi-state employer and this salary range may not reflect positions who work in other locations. These ranges may be modified in the future.\nAnticipated Base Salary Range\n$182,000—$236,000 USD\nIn addition to base pay, our competitive total rewards package consists of the following for full-time employees:\n 401(k) Plan: Includes a 6% company match.\nEquity: Company stock options.\nInsurance Coverage: 100% company-paid medical, dental, vision, and short/long-term disability insurance for employees.\nBenefit Start Date: Eligible for benefits on your first day of employment.\n Well-Being Support: Employee Assistance Program (EAP).\nTime Off:Exempt Employees: Flexible, unlimited PTO and 12 company holidays, including a winter shutdown.\nNon-Exempt Employees: 10 vacation days, paid sick leave, and 12 company holidays, including a winter shutdown, annually.\n\nOn-Site Perks: Catered lunches four times a week and a variety of healthy snacks and refreshments at our Salem and Pittsburgh locations.\nParental Leave: Generous paid parental leave programs.\nWork Environment: A culture that supports flexible work arrangements.\nGrowth Opportunities: Professional development and tuition reimbursement programs.\nRelocation Assistance: Provided for eligible roles.\nAnnual Discretionary Bonus: Provided for eligible roles.\nAll of our roles are U.S.-based.
