# Forward Deployed Engineer

Company Overview AgilityIO is a software development firm that designs and builds custom applications for startups and Fortune 500 companies, with a global team of over 400 developers, QA engineers, project managers, and UX/UI designers with offices in New York City and Vietnam. About the Role We hire Forward Deployed Engineers to turn ambiguous client problems into production outcomes. You will work directly with client stakeholders, learn unfamiliar systems, and build across whatever technical boundaries the work requires - frontend, backend, infrastructure, or all three. You are expected to use approved AI tools wherever they improve development without violating client constraints. You remain personally responsible for the questions you ask, the decisions you make, the evidence behind them, and the code you ship. This is not a quiet ticket queue. In the same engagement, you may move between discovery, implementation, deployment, and stakeholder communication. You should be comfortable making progress with incomplete context and comfortable surfacing uncertainty early rather than working around it silently.
